Me and my buddies have been running a wolf pack flanking lance with these and it works SO well. We have two huntsman set up like this and two urbies with 4HMG's and 2 Flamers each, we have repeatedly rolled up half or more of a team doing this. It is a brutally effective tactic, the urbies basically blowtorch and HMG the crotch or arse of the enemy mech while the huntsman move in from the sides or poptart. Protip, if you plan on running this tactic with a full lance of mechs be sure that the urbies increase their REAR armor, there will be some friendly fire doing this.

I roll my free Huntsman with 6 Medium Pulse Lasers, lots of double heat sinks, and a level 3 TCOMP. It's like a slightly slower version of that Trial/Champion Stormcrow that deletes light 'Mechs in very satisfying fashion.

I have been loving my Huntsman Prime. 3 ATM9s, 2 ER small lasers, a light tag, 6 tons of ammo and 2 dbl heatsinks. I was using 2 ATM12s but 3 ATM9s are the most you can fire without ghostheat IIRC and the cooldown is better.

Nasty firepower for a medium mech. I love the splatbacker but I have to say the jumpjets on the huntsman might swing me :D First game was glorious aggression although some of the team were hesitant they got in there in the end. Second game was very exciting. It's a shame the huntsman didn't take the uav down. And the cheetah tried to face tank heavy gauss. I was screaming internally for them to move and not take that laser burn. I knew it would be death but good effort from both players and well played to the Victor who did a good job staying out of sight and using their uav at a critical moment :D Nice games today Bara. Thank you for them :D

I've been running my Prime with a Gauss and 4ERML, with the Gauss in the B Config Right Torso, works great as a highly mobile sniper.

That spinning hazard between your legs is known as a crotch cooler. Definitely useful when in battle. :p

@@fuzztsimmers3415 Veagle is broke as hell. It can run mass ATMs, dual guass, or triple ERPPC. I've seen LBX20 brawlers carrying almost as much firepower as an Orion IIC

What is the deal with artemis-srm? Acoording to the stats, they have the same range, damage, health and spread like their normal counterparts. But they do use more slots and have more weight. Why do you usem them?

@@nawerschon5777 It provide SRM ability to gain bonus with TAG. Artemis provide NARC to SRM. Counters ECM and provide tracking to Streak. You only need an Artemis LRM5 or Artemis SRM2 to work. Your SRM2 has turned into a NARC2. Multiple Artemis does not provide bonuses because multiple NARC do not provide bonuses.

Can’t decide whether to run laser or missiles, I love atm/Lurm builds but they really suck at close range, laser builds are better for that but I just love running atms in fast mechs so much, poptart atm huntsman is fun

Running mediums is scary to me bc they have low armor, I love heavy and assault builds that can go pretty fast, which is why I love clan mechs because you can run xl engines without worrying about losing that much survivability as you don’t die from blowing up a side torso and if you lose both side torsos u probably would have died with a standard engine anyway
