Honestly, I purchased a scooter from voro in Canada. They were amazing to deal with. So I can’t say a bad thing about them ❤

Feels like Voro made this as almost a secondary model to the V2 or the Pro. Like those were the ones they wanted to make all along but just decided to have an extra stripped down version for people on a budget.

@@freshlycharged OK, so how do you customize it? Where are parts available, such as a larger motor, larger battery, different throttle, etc? I couldnt find this kind of stuff on the Voro webpage - perhaps by going to on of the Voro stores? Appreciate any info. I'm sure there's a ton of aftermarket stuff out there, but how would I know what's compatible with the SE if I wanted to upgrade it? It really would benefit from a 500 W motor and larger battery for decent range to make this a really good scooter IMO

Just an FYI these influencer scooters are refurbished. Be very careful to go over it to ensure it is all tight as mine had issues.. As always guys you rock and do a great job and keep eye on your affiliate tracking.

Thanks for the kind words! Luckily, this was brand new but you should still check bolts because they have been loose on brand new items we receive.

I was gonna get the roadrunner pro, & make it go way faster, then make 2 custom batteries. One for the big empty triangle in the frame then nearly double the length of the slide in one. But I decided to wait.

This would be a good starting point since you intend on modifying it. The Pro is an expensive start if you decide not to use the current battery or controllers.

Vancouver BC has a limit of 25 km/h and 500w for PEVs, I bet the speed limiter was intended for markets with similar regulations

I don’t abide by them either, I have a faster scooter as 25 doesn’t get very far… I’ve heard stories of people blowing right past police officers at 45/50 km/h or even more. As long as you’re within the speed limits, stay to the right, and aren’t a dick, no one cares. I think the manufacturers have to care though

What’s the weight of this scooter with and without the battery? The website is saying 30 lbs with batter but some reviews weighted 30 without the battery.

Voro website and the online reviews all say 30 lbs. BUT the actual owners manual reads "50 lbs". This is more likely the actual weight - it feels much heavier than 50 lbs when i had to hoist it out of the box. Plus the shipping details Fedex provided stated 63 lbs, and theres no way there wax 33 lbs of cardboard and styrofoam. I am unhappy with the misinformation on Voro website and online reviews. The super light weight idea was one of the key selling points for me

SCALE WEIGHT: I put it on a scale a few days ago and it is almost 50 lbs! Just as I suspected per the info in my previous reply. The Voro website claim and any of the reviews I've seen online keep talking about how light it is. It is not an "Ultra-light scooter as Voro claims. It is close to 50 lbs. I am hoping to make people aware so that someone's buying decision is not influenced by the false claim as was the case when I bought it, thinking it was Ultra-light so an older guy like me could easily lift it around. I am trying to get Voro to correct this so people are not misled - close to 20 pounds heavier is a bit difference when you want to carry it up a few flights of stairs or pop it in the back of a car.

@@nothoughtsheadempty6220 that’s not the point. I can modify my fridge and just say it’s made to be modified. Something truly made to be modified is sold as the parts so you can modify it. Cars aren’t meant to be modified but we do. It’s not made to be modified.

It was unlocked to go 20mph. You can easily upgrade the controller, battery, and motor to increase speed.

Beware, this is not a 30 lb scooter as Viro and online reviews claim. Actual owners manual states in the specs it is 50 lbs, it feels much heavier than 30. And the Fedex shipping drtails state the shipping weight as 63 lbs. And after out of box, there is no way the cardboard and foam weigh another 33 lbs. Not happy with this surprise I found out after purchase. But it is a good ride and I'm pretty hapoy with it so far after 1st few miles

I put the Roadrunner SE on a scale today and it is just shy of 50 lbs, so for someone like me who made a buying decision based on a need for a very lightweight scooter, this review and a few other reviews along with the Voro website had misinformation about the actual weight. For the reviews, none of the many online reviews I saw for the SE were thorough in doing an actual weight check. It is something to check, just as a solid reviewer would check for range and speed. For Voro it was either their negligence, looking at an incorrect spec and not confirming it (even though their own owners manual that comes with the scooter clearly states the weight at 50 lbs on the spec page) or an over-zealous marketing person. I am in contact with Voro to see if they might correct this, perhaps this could help other prospective buyers from being mislead by the "30 lbs" hype.
