@burn1gotbeats2 ай бұрын
@ I unscrewed the bolts holding the controller and followed the censor wire from the rear brake you will notice a extra wire that the front brake doesn’t have just unplug that one from the controller it will be still reusable if you don’t wanna just cut it hope this helps. @PatOutdoors3 ай бұрын
Whole different class of bike.. I personally have 11 bikes for different use cases. The E-ride pro SS is the best bang for the buck for its class, but I can’t imagine a 15 year old kid having that much power and spending $4.5K on their FIRST bike. E-Ride would be a beast bike for a more experienced rider though
@Jojo-u6c3 ай бұрын
@@PatOutdoors I was going to ask the guy how much does it cost then....because I assumed by the comment and because of the comment being under a video about best bang for your buck....that the bike he mentioned would atleast be similar in price. But since he listed the price and I see how much it is....that's a no go for me. And so anyway is this the best bike for the around $1500-$2000 range?? Because I have a question....what is the best bike overall and for an adult male and that is in the $2000 and under price range. Something that I can honestly use and especially on the road. And I don't care if it's an off-road road and a dirtbike because I'm in Florida and we have dirtbikes as street legal. Just whatever is the best of the best for the best value and up to $2000. I will say that love the bike in this video that we are commenting on now and the way it looks....but 35mph is I think too slow even though I would more or less be going the speed limit anyway.....however I still want something with the mph and that is comparable to a car. Because I can't afford a car and have never been able to afford a car due to health issues with cancer and so I have been looking at youtube videos forever and just waiting for something available that is comparable to a regular vehicle when it comes to the mph...and for at the most around $2000 the most because I think that at some point I can slowly save up to the goal of $2000. I never have anything leftover but somehow and someway I can maybe reach that goal and save like even $1 a month and even if it takes 2000 months to get there then so be it. And please anyone don't feel sorry for me because we all go through stuff and I'm no better than anyone else.......I'm just stating the reason why getting a bike and the price range that I need it in.

What I wish manufacturers could do for batteries is to create a battery insulation liner. For those of us who are crazy enough to ride in cold weather. Without the voltage sag or battery degredation. Or maybe a custom battery heater like what cars do for windshields to keep the battery warm but not too hot to cause catastrophic failure.

Hello Pat, I bought this bike for my 11 year old son. I assembled the bike and it was working fine on my test ride and for my son for a few laps before the throttle started sticking in the on postion and would need to be manually twisted back. It appeared the position of the grip had moved slightly as the speedo was facing up not toward the rider. Now the twist throttle is fairly loose and can be moved but this doesn't seem to change the tension or the sticking throttle. I tried silicon spray on the throttle which seems to have helped but still seems a bit sticky. The tiny Alan key is very hard to determine if I am using the correct size and doesn't feel as though I am able to get it to loosen or tighten now that it has been installed. Any thoughts or suggestions?
@PatOutdoors25 күн бұрын
Hmm I've had a similar issue in the past with a different bike. I ended up taking the throttle off and sanding the handlebar to smoothen the surface more and reduce the amount of material to reduce friction. I recommend starting with 240 grit (dry) and ending with 1500 (wet.) Other than that, just repositioning the throttle and tightening the allen once there's no tension.

You just swap out the positive and negative cables going to the controller with whatever matches your 72V battery.

Perhaps installing a chain guide will help with the noise. Thanks for reviewing this awesome bike, The front fender got to go and put on a real pit bike type on.❤
