OH MY GOODNESS THIS TOOK AN UNFATHOMABLE AMOUNT OF TIME IM GENUINELY DETERIORATING FOR 3+ WEEKS STRAIGHT. AHHH THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR WAITING. dude i swear the amount of times i had to take breaks in between while making this BECAUSE I WAS TWEAKING OUT EVERYTIME MY PC CRASHES WITH A SHIT TON OF SLIDES IN MY POWERPOINT PRESENTATION OMG. Anyway, wanted to say that im so proud of this episode so far. This was such a long ass episode, swear. I'm proud of my friends who helped me with voice acting and just goofing around. I might make a blooper scene any time AHAEHRJHAJR But without you guys, I wouldn't have gone this far either, seriously. Making this series starting from a satire karma video and from scratch has turned into something phenomenal - for me at least lmao.

After some extensive amount of researching and experiences, I'd like to mention that Stephanie here has occurring symptoms of a compulsive disorder, known as the "hypersexual disorder". Honestly, while making this episode, I had so many second thoughts. The topic of trauma, mental illness and Stephanie who was 16 at the time is a sensitive one to portray about despite her being a minor. So I opened myself up with the help of my friends and used some consultation while thinking things through in a neutral perspective.
Personally, I'd like to say it's fine to portray as long I show Stephanie's actions in a negative light, so as to not glorify these actions. WTFF THIS GAVE ME THE CHILLS WATCHING THE WHOLE THING. and I just read the description due to Stephanie's mental state, and I'd like to point out some of my THEORIES! :3 TW: hypersexuality (18:44) As mentioned in the description, its confirmed our girl here has hypersexuality - a compulsive sexual disorder. LET ME UHH YAP SOMETHING MEDICAL IN HERE though i don't have proof, i wanted to theorize that ace may have tachycardia - a heart condition that makes his heart beat abnormally. assuming he has a history of drinking, its one of the causes. even if ace's mind was unconcious at the time, lets say, uh biologically, stephanie's kisses (assuming the hearts we need to click on at 18:47) made HIS body aroused, hence why his heart rate speeds up. that's right, arousal can also occur in the brain, as it causes the brain to release chemicals associated with pleasure (dopamine and serotonin) the heart rate speeds up (worsening with tachycardia because he isnt doing any physical activity) with arousal, as it needs to have a constant flow of blood throughout your body. It can go from as low as 70 bpm to as high as 120 bpm (beats per minute) and the body may even get sweaty as a response. but again, these are just my thoughts. 14:40now for steph, i also highly theorize that she absolutely hates the idea of losing a loved one *again*. judging from the previous chapters/episodes, we can tell that she isn't loved very much. and she lost kaj, someone who made her feel accepted but ends up killing him because some sort of trigger aka the "hybrid princess form" has... taken over(?) MISUNDERSTANDING that Stephanie will be harmed again and somewhat doing it for her "own good". im not sure what for, but it HAS to do something with an organization who hunts hybrids, perhaps. due to her being so mentally unstable because she never really got anyone to care about her at all (aside from Britney) makes her feel something even if she doesn't want to kiss Ace. (thats why she even repeatedly apologises at the end 19:18) Stephanie currently just wants to be with someone. Even despite Ace not seemingly craving intimacy with her, just for the sake of fun. But she's lonely. She wants to be noticed, acknowledged. It's to the point where the only connection she has with Ace is her sexual attraction to him. now i can finally say this once and for all; “PLEASE GET HELP STEPHANIE 🗣️🔥” HATS OFF TO U PAYTON, THIS WAS A VERY CHILLING EPISODE RAAAHHH

Okay so uh my interpretation is only gonna be about Steph as a character lol I’ve read some other comments that have really interesting hints at the idea of the story so I’ll just point out some things I noticed THINGS NOTICED: At the start we are warned about a Eating disorder and I’m pretty sure that was aimed at Michele’s fear at being scene I’m guessing she’s the one with the eating disorder since there’s a small detail of the poking of a rib cage (something’s I have but not from an ed just a picky eater) so that’s something I hope be more explored next episode now to interpretation Basically last episode we see that Steph’s date was not a very great time (literally kidnapped) so makes sense with the whole “I’m only trying to protect you Steph” i feel like that probaby has more important symbolic mean in so I’m going back to rewatch that one after I finish writing lol.Anyways with that in mind it would make sense why she would be scared of a partner but I don’t think that’s it like another commenter pointed out her eyes were white while aces eyes were pink to show if they truly loved eachother plus with the fact Steph was tipsy and the text kinda being pushy as in “you wouldn’t want to miss an opertunity like this?” She may have truly loved him for a moment being snapping back she’s not ready for a relationship as seen by how she panicked in the moment it may be a forced love type thing (which can end really bad for Steph) she may not even truly love him like she said he makes her feel good and at the hospital scene her eyes are white again with a scribble type coloring an a flashing pink heart. Ok the tldr here is that Steph didn’t love him but she loved the feeling of being loved and adored she just wanted to feel that way with someone (dad seems abusive and neglecting again I’m gonna have to watch the series again) so that’s why but at the same time Steph has this feeling of shame she feels either she isn’t worth that love or knows she doesn’t truly love him just the feeling but she still wants him (as seen by the Morse code parts solved by another commenter) Erm yeah that’s just my thoughts:D

AAA ITS OUTT Edit : I noticed something while watching this (im not good at theories so help me out here 😭) At 2:33 we see Michelle calling Ace her best friend, then at 16:45 we see someone spying on them, but the person spying on them is Michelle. Okay, there is a lot in this! If you don't want to read it, I put a TL;DR at the end explaining my theory! I was going to cover the whole hypersexuality thing, but @heritage already said everything I wanted to say, so I'll just focus on my current theory. One big thing I noticed was just how human-like the characters are. Examples include Britney having her own personal troubles, her crush on Michelle, and the whole thing with butterfly wings. Steph knowing other people besides just the main characters (especially Darc). The whole conversation between Ace and Steph (before the kiss at least) just felt so natural (which again, can I just talk about how good of a writer you need to be to make a conversation feel that real?). And there are A LOT MORE examples of how human-like the people in this world are. At first, when I started watching this series, my idea was that it was something like Lacey's games or Shipwrecked 65: some rogue programmer wanted to tell a story using their power to make games. But now, my new theory is that this is a real world being controlled by the player and only a handful of people really know what's going on. Now, please stick with me as I explain my theory that has barely any evidence. I've already gone over how realistic all the characters are, like they are real people, but I want to draw attention to the Britney butterfly thing. At 5:58, when the player is done dressing Stephanie and Michelle, they have the option to dress up Britney, but she doesn't want the player in there. She is ACTIVELY telling the player to go away, but the player still gets in and learns she is a butterfly (there is the possibility that she is just not comfortable with people looking at her body because she is covering her chest). But the thing is, Britney knew someone was trying to control her, unlike Michelle who just let the player in with an unaware smile on her face. "Well, what about Stephanie?" Stephanie that the player is real because, unlike the others, the player has been controlling her since she was a child. She is used to this; it is her everyday life. That could be why she's not smiling the whole mall scene. She's not truly having fun when someone else is controlling what she's doing. At 2:32, there is also the start of the game when Michelle and Britney are asking her who she was going with to prom. the player puts Ace down and she thinks, "What, who even is-" because she did not think that thought, THE PLAYER DID. The player who is actually controlling everything that happens in her life from her clothes to makeup to what she eats to who she kisses. Wait, hold up. The player didn't control that, Stephanie did. She is the one forcing the player to pick and kiss Ace. But that doesn't make any sense UNLESS she is figuring out how to make her own decisions. Very slowly but surely, she is learning how to force the player to do what she wants, not what the player wants, no matter if it's a bad thing or a good thing. And that's my long-ass theory. TL;DR: I think that the game is a real world and the player has control over it. Some people can see the player, but that percentage is very low. Steph is one of the people who can see them, but she is starting to get control over what choices the player has.

Probaly just my paranoia but the whole achol scene I was shouting “ STEPH ITS DRUGGED, DONT DRINK IT!” Might be drugged still, she (from what we see) only drinks a little and gets tipsy really quick (tho this is pure speculation with very little evidence) (I don’t really believe it after watching more of the episode on top of it due to it being seemingly debunked) Also just a question, does steph maybe have split personality disorder, it makes sense if she doesn’t by saying it’s just the hybrid princess powers reacting, but from my understanding of split personality disorder (very little) it doesn’t always present very strongly and usually split personalities form from trauma (usually in childhood), different personalities can not be aware of each other or one could know about the other and the other doesn’t. And sometimes (not always) it other personalities can act as a protected for another personality. (I’m not a professional, this is just a speculation (a theory) based of very little knowledge) I look forward to future episodes, I love this flash game series, keep doing what your doing

The fact that Britney is aware of the player changing her clothes and makes her uncomfortable makes me feel like Stephanie isnt the only one that knows theres a player. Which i have a theory that there are more people, some free and some stuck in the game. The people who are aware of it are probably trying to tell the player something, but yet we can't get it. Like some type of message that its trying to give us. An example can be Britney's case ( 6:08 - 6:44 ) which i just explained, but to make it short: She could be uncomfortable of how her privacy is absolutlely ignored just like whit the other girls but instead they both allowed it. maybe in the future there could be more messages, or maybe more hidden. Either way lets not get off theme from the main character: Stephanie. At the balcony scene ( 12:52 - 15:39 ) we can see how she is apologizing about what she is about to do. We can take notice of a detail in Ace & Stephanie's eyes, which take a heart shape and a hot pink color. Remember the wine Ace gave Stephanie?, if we go back to the ticket's terms and conditions. Only teachers & staff members can drink alcoholic drinks in the venue, what does this mean? Well my friend!, they could've gotten drunken and could've caused the hospital scene & game. ( 18:11 - 19:40 ) The most affected in the scene is Ace, meaning Stephanie suddenly started to attack him whit the bottle of wine since it could also be used as a weapon if broken. And how was Stephanie during the scene?, exactly.. probably drunk. Tho theres many other options, Insane? probably. Tho remember, it always needs to be shown or approved by the creator themselves.
