'We only want for your happiness...you've had so little of that'. That line really gets to me

This movie made me cry like no other when I was just 15 years old... I just couldn't with the emotion... I appreciated my mother more than anything after this film, and she passed away really close after watching this film.
@jakkuwolfinsomnia80588 жыл бұрын
Every son and daughter who has lost their mother can sympathise with the pain and desperate hope of this scene. To give anything to see her again but there's that desire to dismiss the seeming certainty that those you love you may never see them again. This scene really captures the extent people will go to see those they love and to recreate the innocence and security they had in their family and the relationships they hoped would last forever.

Imagine a movie made about these advances mechas. They seem so beautifully portrayed. Full of empathy and very wise beings.

What’s amazing about this is the robots (Mechas) view David as the closest thing to their creator...Humans. To them humans are their God.

I love this film so much. I hope it becomes a classic. I personally think this film is the BEST film I have ever seen, and it is so much better than frikin Avatar. This is the only film I have ever seen that makes me cry. Gladiator is a fantastic film, yet this is EVEN BETTER.

Im assuming that they never actually ressurected her but put him in a simulation. They had to make up a story of ressurection and the fact she culd only live for one day so he could experience happiness finally before they had to put him to sleep. Its the only way he would have accepted it

The Cylons of Battlestar Galactica -- even the rebooted version, where the Centurians were CGI and could have been portrayed in any manner -- are anthropomorphic (one head, a trunk, two arms, two legs) b/c that race determined that such a form was the most adaptable to a terrestrial environment and, with a little help from technology, the space and undersea ones as well.

@magicalmagicmagician52234 жыл бұрын
You know if you think about it hard enough this race of A.Is could easily restart the human race given the fact that they can resurrect human beings, all they have to do is resurrect one female and male and afterwards extract the egg and sperm cells from those two people respectively and if they have the technology which I'm pretty sure they do (because we've already built it in our own timeline) clone those egg and sperm cells while fertilising the ones which will best survive the planet's hostile environment in a artificial womb which can be made so easily as a sphere of glass filled with embryonic fluids and a tube carrying nutrients carefully inserted into the developing fetus and boom human race restarted and of course no we won't all be clones of those two people's child given the amount of graves on earth everyone will be unique

I wonder what the point of resurrection is, and i definitely believe in it, if we remain ignorant of the lessons learnt in previous existence? No matter what the sins we make in a single lifes span i cannot believe they could possibly be enough for a sentence to burn forever in 'hell' as it is described, not since i was told this when young have i ever been able to believe it. I can remember when i was very young being certain when i reached my parents almost unfathomably ancrent age of 30 i would certainly have it all figured out. Im 53 now and feel more confused then ever.
@janmed15926 жыл бұрын
humans are the key because they store in this dna! information about time and space, so they are telling us we are death! and just we get resurrected for 1 day? Like shows in the bible 1000 days for the lord is 1 day for us!means we are inside a simulation? 100 years is 1 houer 10 years 1 minute?
