Real talk this would help especially during long periods of driving between states. I've had my fair share of drowsiness while driving. Hopefully this becomes a thing of the norm in the near future much like how the usage of Waze has contributed to driving in Malaysia. At least I wouldn't be alone in my car if I have that alarm by my side.

you can expand the project to car mechanism to make the car steady and stable, proper alarm is needed as well to make the passengers stay calm instead of going panic.

Hi this was shared by a friend! but I have a quick question. will it make an alarm if a Chinese(or People with low eyelids) guy were to smile and laugh? you know any misprediction of the camera since sensor would technically detect that his eyes are closed even though he is not drowsy?

Hi there! Sory for the late reply. Yeah we're fully aware of that matter. We're looking forward to enhance the system just so it dont simply detect the eyes, but also it can recognize type of eyes for every person it detects. 👌

No dataset needed. It uses pre-trained facial landmark if im not mistaken
