Ya my other thought if mounting would be a box where your taillight are with a remote start you probably will need a fan that plugs into the generator and a panel that opens for air that is why i chose the pass side floor and a good cable lock that locks gen to crank down gear on trailer nice and quiet, freightliner has a land plug that allows you to turn all your outlets to a/c current in your bunk flip a switch and run off gen power

Just as a matter of interest my gen probably has 600 to 900 hrs on it if i fill it with fuel at 10 at night it will run out at 6 to 7 (1.3 gals) in the morning at around 80 degrees as it gets hotter more fuel is needed mine was an amazon purchase i use t6 shell in it very cheap unit testing the waters still going

my suitcase generator sit on the floor in front of the passenger seat my last truck i took out the pass seat to make room for a 7hp gen really to big , the suitcase gen will run a a/c unit that sits on a shelf in my bunk and vents out the upper vent win, gen runs on eco mode with a/c running made a bracket that uses 1 of the upper bunk bolts and had to drill 1 hose 5000 watt invert runs 43in tv and microwave hot water kettle for french press system works good never had to have my truck jumped def system give 0 problems no idle

So how is this helping with air conditioner or heat. Is there some type of external ac unit or heater unit or is this hooked directly to your truck to run the trucks on board ac and heat. An if so how.

It’s runs for about 6 hours off of 1 gallon of gasoline, that’s with the portable ac, fridge, and tv going at the same time

It’s advertised at 7 hours at half compacity, I ran mine with just the ac and after 3 hours it had a half a tank while running it on Eco Mode, so I’d say 5 to 6 hours realistically at half .
