വിവരണങ്ങളിൽ ചില തെറ്റുകൾ കടന്നു വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. പരലോകം കാണിച്ചു തരാൻ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട ചിറക്കൽ തമ്പുരാനോട് ഒരു ഉണ്ട നൂലിന്റെ അറ്റത്ത് പിടിച്ച് നിൽക്കാൻ പറയുകയും ശേഷം തമ്പുരാൻ ഉയരങ്ങളിലേക്ക് പറക്കുകയും ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ ഭയചകിതനായ തമ്പുരാൻ എന്റെ ഗുരുക്കളേ എന്ന് നിലവിളിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെയാണ് ഗുരുക്കൾ എന്ന പേര വന്നത്. പിന്നെ, മണക്കാടൻമാർക്ക്, 2 തായ് വഴിയുണ്ട് -ഇളയ മണക്കാടൻ, മൂത്ത മണക്കാടൻ എന്നിങ്ങനെ. ഗുരുക്കളച്ചൻ ഇളയ മണക്കാടൻ തായ് വഴിയിൽ പെട്ടയാളാണ്. മന്ത്രശാല സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത് മണക്കാട്ട് എന്ന സ്ഥലത്തല്ല. മുച്ചിലോട്ടിന് പടിഞ്ഞാറ് ഭാഗത്ത് തോട്ടിച്ചാൽ എന്ന സ്ഥലത്താണ്. തറവാട് കളിയാട്ടത്തിന്റെ സോവനീർ - ' കൊടിയില ' യിൽ വി.കുഞ്ഞിരാമൻ വൈദ്യരുടെ ലേഖനത്തിൽ എല്ലാം വ്യക്തമായി പരാമർശിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
