It’s still trash. There are two players who came in the league - Caitlin and Sabrina- who didn’t have to do what she had to do to get a shoe. Further, Nike hasn’t give a signature shoe to a black woman baller in years. So the callout is still warranted.

@@ElliottHudson-rg6ed No. They still waited too long to even OFFER her the option of a signature shoe. She had to win a 'ship, DPOY, MVP, All-Star x amount of times all before they even said "It's time." 2022 is too far into her story for them to finally present that chance. That's some BS. They should have BEEN banking on her just like they threw money at lesser players based on biased marketability. The whacking they've been getting is and was more than warranted. She was deserving without having to out-hoop the whole world. She shouldn't have to be 10x as good to get what people who have shown and proven not even ten percent of what she has were given. She is and has been that girl and it was misstep for Nike to drag their feet. We should be on the A'One Th'ree by now. I'm glad they going for the full monty for her but it doesn't change that they played the same, tired biased game.

I know I was snapping at Nike and almost went on strike in my purchase power. So glad now that we know and the process. I will have my preorders once they’re available.
