Tickets were at $250, until yesterday's announcement of CCs jersey retirement, then they soared for $1000+-. South Carolina might have a five year jersey retirement rule, but it's she's been playing pro since 2018. They should have retired it in 2023. 🙄 Btw, current ticket prices for the USC/Auburn game are still available, averaging $650+- Now, let's wait for those viewership numbers from both networks that day, since the games are an hour and a half apart.

Attendance. Crowd reactions. I've got a feeling that Iowa is going to rock like crazy. JuJu has something to prove. She's going to try to score 40 and shut Iowa down. Iowa is going to pull out all the stops to win this one for CC. I have no idea who South Carolina is playing on Feb. 2, and I couldn't care less. They both wear #22 so 2.2.25 is the perfect date for both of them, especially since they both have home games on that date. Also, neither Iowa or SC has a game a few weeks later on the 22nd, so 2.2 is pretty much the most appropriate day available on the calendar to do it. And both schools and fanbases should be fine with it, cuz no one school has a monopoly on that date for jersey retirements. However... SC could've retired Wilson's jersey long before this. She last played for them in 2018, and they are only shooting themselves in the foot with their arbitrary 5-yr rule before jersey retirements. But fine, even with that, they still could've retired it 2 seasons ago when they also had a home game on Feb 2nd, or last season when they had a home game on Feb 22nd. There's no reasonable excuse for dragging it out for 7 years. And it looks even worse since they built a Wilson statue in 2021, but aren't even retiring her jersey until 4 yrs after that!?!
