There's a few rumors swirling of whom Edna Mode is based on, but I'd say it's pretty undeniable that the core inspiration was probably legendary costume designer Edith Head. She wasn't really known for makeup though, but would occasionally wear a red or brown lip and/or a mauve blush or something.

Hi, Edna Mode is based on Edith Head who won many, many Oscars for costume design in the 50's 60's, and maybe into the 70"s. She was always nominated. Google her and you will see. Edith is Edna! ❤️ As a little girl I always routed for her to win because she was so good and a legend. Just one of her movies was Roman Holiday, Audrey Hepburn's 1st movie. Yes she dressed our beloved Audrey in that movie!!! 🌸

When I first left my house/marriage I had that "I'm just on vacation/temporarily away from "home" "for months. It took me a hot min to recognize that my new place was my home. I had that weird feeling u get on like day 4 of vacation like u are just ready to be back home for weeks. I have a different issue with mail. I have anxiety about opening mail. I'm working on overcoming that this year. Thank you for sharing some of your real and raw feelings and what you've been going through while still keeping it private... On a serious note though I really appreciate your candor on this life change and that you are being so transparent with us. It's a hard change I did it young with my high school sweetheart turned fiancee together 7 years and I found myself on my own with nothing but could feel like it was the right move through the pain and tears. I bought the Victoria Beckham bronzer and I like the fact that its refillable and the case is lovely!! I got other things from the line, have not been disappointed at ALLL. Her eye liners stay on for like forever and are soo smooth, one of the few eye liners that dont make my eyes water to death.
