I first saw Jan Francis in Secret Army which was a brilliant drama, sadly she was miscast & only really chosen for her part due to the fact she looked a fair bit like the real lady her part was loosely based on Andrée de Jongh the incredibly brave leader of the most successful WW2 evasion line, the Comet Line. Jan left after the first series.

@@TheWorldofGood79 Although i like a '1970's Jan Francis' i think it may have been a case of once she's been chosen to be an actress, they then have to find something for her to be in. And depending on what types of TV and film are around at the time, there might not always be something that fits. I don't think i've come across anything that i really like her in, but i've not seen all her productions yet. What do you recommend ?

This is artistic in concept and execution.

I think the execution superseded the concept. I mean, the get go is sorta intimacy harassment and at least offensively forward. I get that it was a different time as is commonly stated, but I was a young adult in 1977, I mean, it's post second wave feminism. But yeah, really well done with the little brass band, in the interesting flea market setting.
