UK was probably safe in the those days. Coz there were no benefits,free housing, free food and clothes for the UK people.

I remember seeing this when it first aired . I was a very young boy at the time and I did find it quite shocking back then . For some reason , as I got older and years went by , every now and then I'd think about it , even though I had forgotten most of scenes . I must have watched it on my own , because I'm sure my parents , had they known the storyline wouldn't have let me see it .🤔
