Boy, it's fun how Togo just puts himself out there training-wise and sparring-wise, which is what JKD should be all about. It's also funny seeing his difficulty with the speed bag, lol. Bruce Lee was apparently so good with it he could also use his feet and head. As for the double-end bag, he'd work his finger jab on it and, according to student Bob Bremer, stretch it out six or seven feet.
Boxing instructor only looks good when hitting bag, but he can't spar. He has very poor distance management and timing. He actually did not know what to do in sparring and you can see it. I don't know what gym this is but it looks like a mcdojo version of boxing. I was a bit surprised to see Togo Ishii go all the way to the US to find a Japanese boxing gym. Then I saw the sparring and indeed my doubts were correct. Wrong gym.

Boxing largely influenced Bruce Lee's development of his JKD.
Toga was trained by hiro sensei so why do some people say hiro sensei is a fraud? Toga managed to spar very well against alot of trained martial artists.
