Oxford: in various places. Here and there 的字面意思是「這裡和那裡」、是「有一些地方」的意思,頻率上只能說是兩次以上。但中文裡「到處」是指很頻繁。如果要表達很頻繁的話,會說"here, there and everywhere".

@@commenter4898 謝謝您🌷跟我找到的是一樣的解釋, “in one place and another ”“various places”裡,various、another可以翻成“各種各樣的”、“其他的”或“不限定的另一個”,所以理解兩次(不同時、地、物)以上,那兩次以上不就包含2345678N次?配合對話文意,當然也不會是指bijou只叫兩次或兩次以內吧😅“偶爾”、“到處”兩詞,在頻率上也均有泛指不細數的多次等意,所以對話翻譯成“到處”也沒錯吧😀

@@jhinchen6947 Cambridge dictionary中,here and there 也可解讀成in different places;Oxford Languages中,也解讀成in various places的含義,所以hear and there,不一定專譯為occasionally😄
