I do not think that I am ever going to make it to the Islands. But if I do, thanks to the Wiseguy, I know that I need to go to the lesser Islands so this old farm boy will be more at home.

Enjoyed this off the grid video. We were in Maui in January, such nice weather. Then we came back to Colorado. We were ready to turn around and go back to Hawaii. 😅 If we get to go back I would like to go to Kauai. (sp) It seemed to be quieter than Maui, which would be nice. Thanks for sharing the Hawaiian islands with us.

Awesome! I think you’d enjoy Kauai although I’m no expert on Hawaii. We had a lot of fun and glad you did too!

@@TravelwithaWiseguyit was so beautiful in Hawaii and we saw birds, trees, and flowers we don't see stateside. We have friends on the big island, but health issues and money keep us home. Ho hum. That's why we love your channel and your travels. We hop in and ride along. 😊

I will take the beauty of the people in Kansas over the natural beauty of Hawaii anyday. I bet a lot of long time travelers of the world would agree with me.

Hey Coach.Interesting to suggest swimming to augment training for the team.Congrats. to Curt on the long run.To me, I like home just fine, but it's nice to be an armchair traveler too, especially for me @ 71.I'm old enough. Red Dragon in the intro, spinning like it's winning. They might not be the world's greatest, but I'll take the Long Island beaches, they're good enough for me any day. Later and greater!

I had wondered about that area that burned, I'm glad you touched on it, building back is hard. I'm also glad you touched on the food, It's not vacation without a lot of new foods 😃 I'm happy to hear you and your family had a safe, great time. Easier to plan your return trip! Enjoy your off the grid videos. Safe travels dear and GOD bless

Well, I nearly had it - when you said this video was set someplace different, I guessed a hot tub! I'll remember your advice about A/C when i go to Hawaii someday, dk why, but I'd always assumed the temps there were cooler. Thanks for another happy video!

I thought it would be cooler in October too - but I was wrong haha. It was in the 80’s during the day and 70’s at night. Nice but a little warm with no AC 😊

Once again who didn't mention if y'all met or saw any hulu girls. I thought every visitor to Hawaii was greeted by girls giving out leis and kissing you on each cheek as a greeting to Hawaii. Maybe that only happens when you land in Honolulu. Didn't you guys get a little wrinkled after being in that pool? I know I probably would have. Of course I haven't been in a pool since the 1960s. Tell Curt, howdy. I see you both got into a sauna after being in the pool. Did you both get a little bit chilled? Ha! Happy trails to you and God bless.

Haha we saw some but didn’t meet them 😂 I’m not sure about the leis - they had a store outside the airport though. Maybe it’s a budget thing 🤷🏼‍♂️ actually we were burning up after the sauna - the pool was very warm 😊

@TravelwithaWiseguy Ok. I always that the leis would smell beautiful since they are made from flowers grown in Hawaii and if there's one thing I love it's flowers. It was a great trip video anyway. I guess you and Curt would be hot. I thought maybe you were in the sauna to warm up after being in the pool but I guess I was wrong. Have a great day. Happy trails to you and God bless.

@TravelwithaWiseguy I looked it up and found out that they don't greet you with a lei.. Lei are only given out on special occasions, like birthdays or weddings or anniversaries and such. Also found out that no matter how many it's just lei. I also found out how you wear them and lei can be made out of all kinds of things, like flowers, leaves and such even paper. There's a place called Polynesian Cultural Center where they have lots of dancing by both women and men. Learned something new yesterday after watching your Hawaii trip. Yes, I watched it on Sunday but looked up about lei yesterday. Happy trails to you and God bless.
