Jeevanjee Gardens was well maintained sometimes back but it seems it has been neglected. Maybe someone wanted to grab it and set up a house. Hope it will be renovated soonest.

Jeevanjee gardens is under renovation and the renovation seems to have been abandoned. If he was to take you to Michuki gardens further at Globe roundabout it would have been a worthwhile adventure. About Jeevanjee gardens it was donated to Nairobi by Mr. Alibhai Jeevanjee in 1906 with the various sculptures done back then. The sculpture of Mr. Jeevanjee and Queen Victoria used to stand there, not sure where they were taken. It's one of the green areas of the CBD and hope it's renovation will be finished in time as currently its an eyesore
