Love you guys. 73 year old biker from Scotland, aye rain but we have done numerous tours in Europe and no matter how bad it gets there is always a moment of kindness or pub lol that really makes it all worth doing

The initial shot of Martha just melted my grandfatherly heart :) Yes, the far North of Europe can be more than you bargained for at times, but it's not exactly the wastelands of Siberia either. Bless you two on your travels. Get yourselves a cheap kebab meal at 2000 cals per serving, just find the nearest town :)

I’ve toured Europe for decades but only been to Norway once. Yes the scenery is stunning , but the weather and the cost of things was a deal breaker for me. I ride for fun and even in the middle of summer it can be bloody freezing. Sweden’s a better compromise, it’s warmer and the price of beer won’t give you a heart attack.

The tiny flys are called knott and yes they do bite. Get them in the tent and you'll get zero sleep. They are poor fliers so with some wind they disappear. Still, wet evenings by water or grass is the worst. However bad they are I still love Norway. Enjoy your travels.

Those prices in Norway are not bad, we pay about the same for pizza here in the US. Food prices you’re used to in England seem to be much cheaper than we pay. Hang in there, we love watching your adventure.

In Norway there's something called "Harry-tur". It basically means taking a trip across the border to Sweden, to get some relatively affordable shopping done.

Oh no! Last video after binge watching when we got back from holiday. Amazing trip and thank you so much for sharing with us. The scenery is astounding and despite the problems along the way, it must be mind blowing to be where you are. Saying that, the mozzies would do my head in…when we head to Scotland I have soooo many sprays and stuff to burn it’s like I’m at war. Keep telling my wife I’m taking a flame thrower next time. Now then….Mitch….all you need is a lighter and can of hat spray or whatever and you can make a makeshift one 😝😝. Sorry Martha….he’s probably thinking of doing that now 🤣🤣

Sad to see you sad. Life's a continuous up and down, like motorcycling in a hilly region. Prices in Norway can be disturbingly high, but then the breathtaking views and fjords and rainbows are for free. And maybe you'll find another bargain in the supermarket ;-) Happy days, Günter/Nürnberg

I wanted to ask about whether you find the difference in range between the L and the Rally has been a hindrance during the trip? The Rally has a much larger tank than the L, do you both stop and fuel when the L is running low?, or do you carry extra fuel to compensate and stop when the Rally is low?

haw been in Norvel a lot of times but newer on a bouget we haw always chosen a cabin instead of a damped tent but fore the most part marked our food self if you are 4 a cabin cost only around 10 pound per night per person and a golden rule is that trawling Europa will cost you around 100 pound per day all included

We should definately give even more financial support than PM Støre and finance minister Vedum are proposing in the 2025 budget proposal. It is most needed and a long term investment in deterring Russian aggression in the future. We can afford it with all the oil and gas revenue and it is just reason given what Sweden, Denmark and many other countries are doing.

I dont get it ...did you think you were going to travel all around Scandinavia and back for free?....from what ive seen, youve spent the absolute bare minium on food by eating cheap junk ...and have refused to use b&bs or hostels - preferring to rough it in the tent whatever the conditions, presumably again to save you from spending any dough. ..no wonder its turned to tears and tantrums...you can be too tight for your own good....budget properly and sensibly and you'll enjoy your travels a hell of a lot more...
