That title was a bit more dramatic than I expected hahaha. You are aware you are in Sweden and can pretty much camp anywhere in nature? Rule of thumb is easy; Leave it as you found it, aka clean up after yourselves. If you spend more than one night, move the tent over so you don't damage the vegetation underneath. Typically in the countryside you could stop by a house and just talk to them about it and they could show you a good spot, and perhaps even let you use the bathroom too.

Gravel roads are very common in nordic countries, you just have to be mindfull if road has clay under road. It can turn amazingly slippery when wet, when you break its easy to slide off the road. Dry one has no issue or moist, only if it has rained a lot.

Even if you don’t meet other vehicles for hours, please don’t fsll for the impression you ste alone. Those 60ton logging trucks, that tractor with a wide load of straw balls on the trailer, or that young moose jumping put of the ditch happen to appear when you go expect it least. And stopping distance on loose surface is easily twice of that of pavement. Ride safely! :-)

Ive seen a great solution to working on your wheel wich can be pretty cheap, and effective, but also weights next to nothing- out of a set of crutches, you can make a jack to lift your wheel up. Since I had a set after my knee was operated, I made it for myself and I love it! Used it both here in the UK to fix some punctures, and on the trip trough Europe this summer, to keep my chain lubricated. To complete the solution I keep in my tool roll a bit of a string, or velcro belt to pull front brake when working on rear tyre, or you put your bike in gear when working on the front.

There's no need to indicate inwards in a roundabout? Where else would you go? You either take the exit (indicate to leave) or you stay in the roundabout. Well some huge roundabouts might have three lanes and then if you would change lanes inside a roundabout, you'd indicate but there are only two options when you are in a roundabout. You either stay in your lane inside the roundabout, which is basically an infinite curve or you take the exit.
@paulozavala3232
@paulozavala3232 Ай бұрын
I do not agree that it is unnecessary to blink inwards at a roundabout. In order to guide those going into a roundabout, it is highly appreciated to know whether a person intends to continue in the roundabout or intends to drive out! maybe different in the country but absolutely necessary in bigger cities with a lot of traffic.
@Xerdoz
@Xerdoz Ай бұрын
@@paulozavala3232 Again. There are two options, either stay in the roundabout or exit. If you exit, you indicate. If you stay in the roundabout, you don't. Well some huge roundabouts might have multiple lanes and then of course normal rules apply when changing lanes but a roundabout is just a "straight" piece of road with an infinite curve.
