This is the 3rd of your videos I’ve watched, really enjoying your series. Question specifically for this episode and your friend; why canoe why kayak? Personal preference? Big Agnes chair looks super comfy, I have a Helinox Chair Zero.

Thank you for watching, great question! Canoe allows me to pond-hop or portage and travel between lakes easily whereas that is much more difficult (but not impossible) with a kayak. Different boats for different types of travel. The big Agnes is VERY comfortable and honestly is my preference between the two. Happy tripping!

How was the pizza? We use an outback oven over a wisperlite stove for pizza on short trips but avoid pizza on long trips to save the extra fuel weight. Have never tried striaght on the grill. Figured it would just get blackened on the bottom.

Learned the foil trick from a friend and it works great, we used to find a flat pizza stone which also works great! I love our outback oven, but only really use it to bake desserts. Try the foil trick, works like a charm.
