Hi everyone! Hope you enjoy the start to our new Algonquin Park canoe camping series! Thought I’d go back to my DSLR filmmaking roots, and had a blast filming most of the intro sequence in manual focus with the ‘ol nifty-fifty lens :) This new series was filmed with helpful support from Ontario Parks, in anticipation of helping to kick off the start to this season, and the park’s 125th year of operation! Please note, you can enjoy the adventure in up to its full 4K through Google’s Chrome browser. Btw, I’ll also be posting regular 360° videos again of select moments and places from each day of the trip, so stay tuned for those coming up soon. Thanks for watching, and we’d love to know what routes and canoe trips you’re planning for this season!

Have a great summer Chris and I hope you and Julia enjoy it! Thanks for sharing your wonderful time in the Park. I'm too old to go camping now haha (57) but love watching your videos. When I was little we'd drive from Ottawa through the Park to Huntsville area where we had a cottage. So, I've got fond memories of the "tickle tummies" of the roads there and seeing the occasional moose on our trips. Thank you so much for your wonderful videos. They are inspiring.

Suddenly I want to buy a Honda, a coffee, some outdoor gear, and go for a road trip... but not until I rewind the into and watch it again. 😍💙 SO glad your videos are back, and the moments on the water at 6:32 and on as it becomes dark remind me how your videos transport me like nothing else on KZbin. Hi Chris and Julia, I just had to thank you for your wonderful videos! Now that I’m older with a bum hip, my portaging days are probably over (but not my water taxi days!) so I deeply appreciate your glorious photography and the stillness in your videos that allows us to hear the quiet and sounds of Algonquin, and the opportunity to see far reaches of the interior that I will never get to experience with my own eyes. I love your music choices that compliment the videos without distracting from the star of the show, the park itself. On a personal note, I am deeply inspired by your strength, intelligence, inner calm and your wonderful relationship. You are a tonic for our increasingly insane world. Congratulations, and the very best to you, Joe Greiber, Pittsburgh

Production value continues to improve. Which is kind of shocking, because it was already really good. You just keep getting better, and it is a joy to watch.
