@@tatsuyasigh1906 I'm not talking about this game, I'm talking about his games over the last 3 years which I have followed. And I didn't say he was almost unbeatable in the "middle game", the middle game is an extension of the opening and hence it derives a lot from prep which isn't Alireza's strong suit. I just said that in a context where only tactics and positional sense matters, he's almost unbeatable. Those are two different things we said.

Well chess are about fun and knowledge. Levy makes both of these things at the same time and to be fair, it works. He says his opinions on positions, he analyze best moves what players should play, makes talk in funny and entertaining way... As far as I can see Gukesh never played a blunder move in this game. He simply was outplayed by Alireza's engine-like attack. It reminded me of some times when I've been playing the Lichess engine and thought my fortress was impregnable but the engine painstakingly broke it down. If Gukesh erred, it was strategic not tactical; that is to say, he diverted resources to pushing the passed pawn when those resources really just needed to remain in a defensive position.

The picture was actually a few moves later, after the knight got out. Gucci-Reza jammed in this game. He's bringing the fade back. 🔥
