​@@FREE_WILL_DEFENDER there are some stuff that just unfortunately can't be translated to anime form, or at least it would be difficult to do so without breaking the flow of the show. those little game boxes that appear in the manhwa are quite hard to replicate in anime considering you can't take ur time and read in anime unlike manhwa. adding dialogue to supplement it would also make the scenes way too wordy as well. I think a1 is doing the best they can lol

NO Spoilers - The reason why he was able to stop Igris' final slash with his hand when he previously had a hard time fending even with the dagger is because (in the manhwa) the gloves Jin Woo is wearing have a passive that reads something along the lines of: "prevents all damage to hands". It's not a "mc rages/finds the will" or whatever moment at least. I haven't seen this mentioned.

Some facts or take notes from this episode (no spoilers): - jinwoo hasn't finished his daily quest yet - it is confirmed that they extended the heck out of that jinwoo vs igris fight and i love that for them - The gauntlet (the invisible armor on his hand/arm) is non penetrable so he can block igris' sword like that so jinwoo took advantage of it and took igris by surprise and kept spamming that fatal strike as igris doesn't probably know that jinwoo's dagger can comeback to his inventory - the job-change quest did not start until he defeated igris. The "survive for as long as you can" challenge is the quest. The system's notification said "The job-change quest begins now. Survive as long as you can to earn advancement points that are required to be assigned a higher class" before the "GOOD LUCK" from the system - Jinho's brother is mentioned in the manhwa, but they didn't show him until the anime (don't know if his brother has dialogues in the light novel, but readers said that he was mentioned) - another thing that is not in the manhwa (don't know if it's in the LN): the Hunters Guild is not going to fight Jeju Island, but to just check it out to see the status of it, probably to be more prepared or to build more hype or set up for the 4th raid - only jong-in (red haired glasses guy) and hae-in (blond short hair) are the only S-rank hunters in the Hunters Guild. I forgot the count, but S-rank hunters in Korea are more or less 9 people only There are so many things that jinwoo has in his shoulders at this moment like dongsoo (dongsuk's younger brother that is a S-rank hunter), getting the elixir of life for his mother from the demon's castle, the mystery behind the system and the sudden appearance of the dungeons 10 years ago, and many more soon 👀 There's a clue from the end credits, which is the title for the next episode so you can have more discussion on what's coming up next besides what happened to this episode. Yeah I think Sheera misunderstood that those weren't gained abilities during the fight (all the popups at once). He was stacking the fatal strike and dagger skills. Granted it only flashed for like a second.

I thought the chestplate said 7% less? I coulda sworn it did, but maybe it went by too fast or it was a typo on their part.

@@sirnunyabuiz6529 i think the stat window on the item said 20% reduction but when he put it on it said 15% or should I say jinwoo said its a 15%. Also in the LN the chest plate is only a 7% reduction.

@@sirnunyabuiz6529 also people are questioning how did he stop Igris sword with his hand, they don't show in the anime but the gauntlet prevents all injuries to his hand, so he was able to use it to stop that deadly attack.

@@AmericanMeat Still doesn't make sense, if it wasn't for plot armor his bones would've turned into dust when trying to block that, even if the guantlet makes him take no damage to the hand there was still force behind that attack that would've pushed him straight into the ground. Lets be real, Solo Leveling is a generic OP MC manhwa that got popular.
