This video brings back memories when I worked at Wagner Mining Equipment Co. In the old days we did everything in-house. I love it they were using cut in half oil drums as parts baskets 👍😂😃. Then on that induction heating machine on output side they had 2 vise-grips holding a side sticker plate in place 😂👍. Now the part they were making -! My guess was an end cap for a single stage or maybe a multi - stage hydraulic cylinder for small heavy equipment of some sort. At one time Wagner made all their hydraulic cylinders in house. We would cut our end caps out of bar stock and just machine them. I don’t know why they heated the slugs up then punch press them out other than it’s more cost effective especially when they are making them in the quantities that they where for a customer that manufactures hydraulic cylinder’s.
