If you examine it closely there is a line on the filter where they need to cut it.
The cap is coated in adhesive, so: 1. they quickly assemble it 2. you get glue in your engine oil 😂😂😂

It must be a machine they didn't show. The end caps come down that assembly line already full of glue.

It looks like it's at 9:06 where they go through an oven and the solid glue discs that are already in the end caps is melted.

watch again and turn on subtitles, it mentions it there. there's a part where it goes through some heat and it the heat melts the glue laid into the caps prior

I see none of the heavy duty machinery shown is protected by a safety shield or an interlock. That means one false move will immediately turn skin & bone into part of the end product.
They spend 15 minutes showing how spin-on cannister filters are made, then close showing a cartridge filter change! Odd.
