If memory serves, the benefit drops off at 1000 feet, so above that you get a speed boost but I don't think it stacks if you keep climbing. I remember that from trying to speedrun cayo, you need to get the velum up to 1000 feet, but there's no benefit to going higher. Thanks for watching 😎👍

I just did something where I was flying a Lazar and was looking for suggestions of a fun plane, with good mobility, and handling.. Not for pvp, or missions, or flight school lol.. Just for flying around in to have fun.. Maybe this will be the one. I was thinking of the Riju but this looks like it could be just as fun for what I'm intending on using it for. Thanks for another enjoyable watch Pen!

If you don't mind losing the weapons, then the Alpha Z1 might be worth a look. Tiny stunt plane, twitchy but fun. Of all the weaponised planes, the Rogue is definitely the most fun. I'm not hating on the Raiju, but it is the flying equivalent of the Kuruma, very good, very useful, but a bit soulless.

Well this was a welcomed surprise, an aircraft review. The Rogue is such a good mid-tier aircraft. When faced with higher tier aircraft such as the pyro, b-11, and raijew (as it is dubbed in the dogfighting community), it can dispatch of them, but it's not ideal. With every accessible aircraft weapon with the exclusion of barrage missiles, it is a jack of all trades similar to the B-11 in that regard. But with all Jacks, where they know alot about little, they know little about alot. Also a tidbit about the cannons, neither the B-11 or the Rogue's cannnons were nerfed, only the lazer's and the hydras, as those guns came pre-nerfed by R* so they didn't become new Hydras/Lazers. So, via the process of elimination, they now have better cannons than their predecessors.

Another thing it that the Rogue is in the top 5 fastest planes while still being a Prop aircraft, so its a lot quieter and you can kill mk2's just by flying into them

Whenever i fight an experienced starling in a rouge, i win 90% of the time. The way you fight starlings is by just out flying them and making occasional runs at them

That's a great tip actually. Thanks 😎👍

Great video mate, just wanted to let you know that theres an mistake in the title (theWester) Rogue, when I think it’s meant to be the Western Rogue? Not criticising, just wanted to point that out

Thanks dude, sorry for missing that, all updated now. I never take it as criticism. If people care enough to mention things like this, that actually makes me happy. Take care. P

I toast, it is my raison d'etre! 🤣🤣🤣 Hilariously, this was on my short list the second they said it was going on offer - I've been eyeballing it for ages and just have never pulled the trigger on it. I have a bit of a different relationship with planes in this, mostly because I played like 6K hours of FSX back in the day lol. Hardcore roleplay played even, had a bunch of notebooks with airport info, had a passengers addon and real world air traffic and a bunch of third party hyper realistic airplanes where everything worked down to the FMCs, I even used to do my own custom liveries... so definitely a plane spotter/aviation nut lol. I even bought the LISA hangar over the Zancudo one so I could have farther to fly between airports in this and land at an actual one lol. Also did two vids on the channel where I tried to drive various airplanes from the bottom to the top of Chiliad (fun challenge btw, try it some time). This one caught my eye because it has that Spitfire, P-51D vibe and who doesn't love those? Long story short (too late!) you have talked me into buying one lol. Great review, wouldn't mind seeing more airplane ones in the future!

My Dad is still a hardcore Flight sim nut. He has all the HOTAS stuff, the ATC and proper pilots' airfield guides, so I get it. I don't have the patience for 7 hour flights myself. I originally wanted to start from the car starting point, but I couldn't get it in there with out at least one small (well, significant) knock, and that small knock would bring it down half a lap later, that could quite possibly be a skill issue. I already have my next Dwarf quote recorded and lined up, and I know where I'm going to use it, but it looks like I won't get to use it this week 😰
