I'm glad you got to travel back with your parents I hope it made it all a little easier both with the grief and with the children! Also your dad is SOOO sweet with Kaia at the piano! I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Its not easy. I lost my grandma and I was very very sick and I was not able to fly and didn't get to say goodbye. I know this sounds weird but I can tell when she's with me. It could be something as simple as a song on the radio, or a post on facebook, or something as random as just a feeling. I Know that even though your Nan is not there with you physically she is there spiritually. God bless you. I hope you and your family have a merry Christmas.

It's not so weird. My friend had a similar experience after her mom passed. That she could sense her presence afterwards. I had given my friend a praying hands pin and an angel pin that she wore to the funeral. She said when she bent over to say goodbye to her mom, the pins fell off her jacket lapel and landed in the casket. She told me afterwards that if her mom wanted them to take with her, then she could keep them.

I had the same thing happen last December with my Nanny (grandma) passing on December 7th a few weeks before Christmas and she also had dementia, so I know exactly what you’re going through. I lost my grandma in march of this year. Although she had dementia for a very long time and we knew her time was coming, it was still so hard to lose her. I still cry when I think about her now.
