In the beginning, MechWarrior Online was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move. Many players believe that it was balanced by some sort of God, though the Veteran players believe that the entire game was in fact balanced with a fart out of the arse of a being called Russ Bullock. The Potatoes, who live in perpetual fear of their armor turning yellow, are small starchy creatures with more than fifty LRMs each, who are therefore unique in being the only race in history to have a terrible weapon system usher in a new a metagame strategy. However, the Russ Bullock theory is not widely accepted and so, the game being the puzzling thing it is, other balancing mechanisms are constantly being sought.

If he listened to the people who paid [would be easy to separate them] you could have catered to your paying customer and kept doing that making lots of money. But no... Russ is a terrible businessman, the free players are a gateway to payers, though you want to take care of what your customer wants or you'll lose em as they have done over and over.

Alpha/Beta player here; was in the game within the same hour the testing servers were brought online.....MWO is a fucking joke. I remember the day Russ stopped listening to us on TS, and then ordered all employees to cut comms with the testers. Fuck Russ....and the game is now shit and has been for a long time now, sorry. I had more fun in the last couple weeks with MWLL 8.2 then I did the entire time i played MWO. I wish cancer on him with my mind.

.. in 3D!! Truly the best part of the adjustment is this video thus far. Oddly it didn't make me want to go back and play despite my love of the game type and heck I'm the kind of player they need, aka someone who is happy to pump money into something, spent plenty... got shafted time after time. Burnt my respect and patronage, hope they go out of business and hopefully someone who respects the players and the game will buy up the smouldering ruins [or the core game and tweak it for that matter] ... alas.
