After 10 years of hearing it for the first time, here I am again. Just incredible

This guy is such a monster player. He doesnt have to rely on slap licks at a million miles an hour to impress people. He is making beautiful captivating sounds that are original and interesting. I wish so many more players worried less about how many notes they play and focused more on the importance of the notes they do play

It's times like these that I realize how wonderful it is to live in a day and age where we have something like KZbin. A gateway we can walk through to gain access to other great musicians on the planet doing incredible things aside from the big names that are flashed on TV and such. This was absolutely amazing, and thank you so much for sharing.

Nearly ten years since this appeared on KZbin and it hasn't been bettered. Superb playing, wonderful composition, terrific tone. Way back in the 70s I tried to use my bass to solo and was always looking for the other strings.

Eric, you are possibly one of the most gifted musicians alive, you remind me of some of my favourite shredders on guitar and bass, yet you are on a different plane all together. You are INCREDIBLE and thank you for gracing us with such incredibly, mind opening music. Much love from the Canadian East Coast.

Eric, thanks for giving me the strength to continue seeking perfection in my musical compositions, I have a humble 6-string Ibanez bass (the cheapest one) I'm from Chile (South America) and I'm practicing hard to be a good bass player, and sometimes I lack inspiration to succeed, and watching your video gave me that inspiration, take it to another level musical interpretation, thank you very much, greetings and congratulations!

I watch this video seemingly once a month since I found it a few years back. It gives me the drive to keep on playing. So much feeling in this work of art. This is my kind of bass playing. I’m not as good as this performance, but if anyone cares to check out a similar track I wrote a crappy little part of a song about 6 years ago on a 7 string Antoniotsai bass I used to have. It’s called Melody Of The Stargazer and you can find it on KZbin. I apologize I am not trying to steer listeners away. You will continue to get views. I watch this video a lot. And I show it to everyone who will listen.

Eric, embarked upon reading your story and history developing as a musician. Funny, I see no less of a story (at least my interpretation), perhaps reflective of your plight, with this composition. With such a talent for bringing out an actual harmony between the haunting (minor key) melodies with the beautiful dorian major melodies - I'm in awe. These are some of the melodies I've had in my head for years, but never technicallly proficient enough to express them. Thank you for this inspiration!
