You can tell the difference. We have a more 'dusty' or 'muted' black hair color. If you are a 'true 4C', as you are, our hair has SHEEN not SHINE (and for many of us... NEITHER!). I find that most wigs are more on the SHINE side, especially black ones. If we truly want to not be able to tell the difference we either need to DYE our own hair or find wigs that are more of that 'dusty' black hair type. No offense meant, but you can tell the difference.

I thought you were going to blend some of your hair back to hide where the wig starts. It's a good quick look if you need quick style. I've tried the the doux bee girl curl custard and it's a hard hard hold. Love your thick hair

I love how the styling of the wig came out for you. I'm not much of a stylist when it comes to my hair. I went natural a few years ago and I have gray hair. I would love to find a natural curls wig in gray or salt and pepper color. I will look into the link you provided and search for a style of wig that I may like to try. Wishing you a Happy New Year

Question why is the water so dark after Submerging the hair in a bowl of water in? I have not experience virgin or raw hair after shampooing or conditioning my bundles or wigs
