Swirly Bokeh! A linguist friend of mine, also a fine photographer, did some research on "bokeh." He explained that the term is a Japanese transliteration of the Turkish word "bok," a crude term for excrement. Apparently, a shipment of German lenses reached Japan. These lenses had very little resolving power, no edge sharpness, but interesting color rendition. These lenses were generally useless; however, some clever marketers decided they could foist them off on unwitting consumers by using bokeh as a sales point. Given the number of KZbin videos on the subject, this strategy has been successful. Swirl on!

Hi steven. Lkve your work. Being a fan. Im visiting Tokyo in 2 months with my family. May have a a time to stopby camer shops in DW Tokyo. Just wondering if you have any recommendation where to get either LTM lens or Nikon S2 lens and color negative??

@@9999chihao You can go to Katsumido camera store in Ginza, I remember they had some lenses there. It's a more expensive store but the in good condition. There's also a Kitamura camera store in Shinjuku, which is a whole building.www.kitamuracamera.jp/ja/
