At the end of the 8th DDD looked in trouble and ultimately Usyk schooled him. 100% correct look at the punch again. DDDs swings a low hook, at no point on impact does any of the leather of DDDs glove land on Usyks stomach/skin. Daniels right hand makes impact, the right side of his glove lands the lowest. Thats where all the power is being genereated into on a right hook. On top of that the guard could have be clattered out of place, jolting a testicle up. Daniel should have thought himself lucky that he didnt get a point deducted considering DDD landed an illigal foul on Usyks right thigh with a left hook in the previous round. There was also a rabbit punch that wasnt acknowleged by the ref. The ref did a good job. He tried to let the fight flow as much as possible. The ref went easy on DDD saying it was unintentionally low, when he could have penalised him. People should be also talking about Daniel going down. He did quit. He was done. He had nothing left in the tank and used his opportunity to get out of there. That was a check right, with about as much power in it as a parried hook or a solid jab.

He did his best on the night, and all credit to him for that, and he gave us a fight well worth watching, but he simply isn't good enough. Does below the navel mean a) the entire glove below the navel b) the point at which the glove first makes connection below the navel c) any part of the glove below the navel d) the majority of the glove below the navel I would say part of the glove (the closed thumb area) definitely pushed up past the navel. That's clearly visible - not sure anyone would disagree with that. My boxing gloves are approximates 8 inches wide, so I think it's a relevant question. I don't really care - just wondering.

Usyk was a worthy winner but let's not lie, many fights end with the exact same shot DDD landed and nobody complains. Just like many fights end with shots that look like they may be to the back of the head, elbows, etc - and nobody complains. I think it was a 50:50 decision but the referee behaved like a home ref after the decision.

Correct as usual, Dubois at face value would do AJ but interesting to see him take a knee and not get back up which looked poor, the low blow was ambiguous but the better man won comfortably in the end. Need to see Usyk and Fury.

Well called by Carl Froch ! The ref was in the best position to see the punch 🥊 ! DD should have capitalised on the low blow ! DD just doesn’t have the heart to be a world champion ! He dropped to his knee against Joe Joyce ( fair enough ) cause of the eye damage . DD dropped to his knee 3 times in the first round against Lerena ! DD dropped to his knee in round 8 and finally quit in round 9 .. got up at the count of 10 . And see warriors like wilder and Tyson fury get dropped heavily and get off the canvas and carry on again ! Disappointed Usyk didn’t put it on DD more effectively and quicker ! After seeing Lerena drop DD in the first round , thought Usyk would have landed more leather from the start !

Nah Usyk took a dive big time vs DDD and the biased ref saved him, he has a weak belly, looking to the ref every body shot and he's been dropped a few times, always body shots, hopefully Usyk finds his balls and doesn't run from the Fury fight again, he could have fought Fury for 10x the money and undisputed but he choose novice Dubois to fight..

He took quite a few more body shots after that, that would’ve hurt him had it been a legit body shot. He took clean, hard body shots after that, that hardly made Usyk look uncomfortable. Therefore I don’t think it was a body shot because we see how vulnerable people become after a good body shot
