@@Kodreanu23 Some things Froch says are true, but most things are just clown shit hating on AJ, never anything positive. The performance against Helenius was actually quite alright. For some reason, almost everyone is wanking off at the idea of him knocking people out in round 1 even though that's inherently less impressive than doing 7 rounds THEN KO'ing them... people seem more clueless than ever as of recent. EDIT: Yes, he has to knock Wilder out as fast as he can to avoid getting chinned, but my point is outside of the Wilder fight, since it's a necessity in the fight, but not necessarily vs everyone else.

@@RichityKneesTK I don't have too much clue about Froch. I just saw couple videos from Froch and others that almost everyone said fight looked boring and AJ looked tentative, while what I saw, AJ was shorter guy coming forward (right thing to do), and trying to solve lead hand of Helenius. As a matter of fact, I would argue that AJ looked more fluid than in previous matches. And then I started asking my self who is crazy here? If everyone compares Wilders and AJ's performance against Helenius, those are two different things. They should take into account that Helenius was coming forward against Wilder and against Helenius trying to stay on his jab lead hook. Shaking my head, I don't have any more comment.
@RichityKneesTK
@RichityKneesTK Жыл бұрын
@@Kodreanu23 He definitely was more fluid, even his guard had changed somewhat from the previous fights. Exactly, comparing the two performances is pointless, since not only are they different fighters with different styles, no matter the procedure AJ takes in the fight - even when he wins - people find a reason to complain... Round 1 KO? Oh, his stamina sucks. Round 7 KO? Oh, he's not determined enough. Goes 12 rounds? Oh, he's washed, can't even KO people anymore. The sad truth is: if Fury did the same thing AJ did VS Helenius, people would be sucking his dick about it. You definitely aren't crazy, there's just too many sheep nowadays. Anyway, have a good mate.

He’s spot on though. AJ is not ready to take on Wilder. AJ is changing under his new coach and has done well to adopt a more thoughtful style. He does however need an opponent who will come and pressure him, ideally on with a dangerous 1-2 like Wilder has. Helenius gave him a little pressure for 1 or 2 rounds but it was no blitzkrieg like Wilder will bring. Give AJ one more fight against the right opponent and I’d say that after another win against the right guy, and he’ll be as ready as he’s ever going to be for Wilder. As it stands, I’d say that there’s a high chance that he’d get lit up against Wilder within 3-4

I would take what Carl has to say when it comes to AJ with a pinch of salt. There is absolutely no coincidence that Carl has come out and been extremely vocal and negative towards him, around the same time AJ and Rob McCracken went their separate ways.

Got to give it to you Carl, I wish every single person in boxing was as honest as you mate! Bellew is a disgrace for the views he has. This is brilliant honest analysis. One of my favourite Boxing videos……EVER! (and I’m a Welshman and a Calzaghe supporter). Everything Carl says is on the money. A voice of reason and reality amongst all the Boxing BS. PS - If I’d known there was a chance of getting a wife like that, I’d have taken up Boxing.
