Thank you for posting all these game commentaries, I find these really instructive and entertaining especially when you explain the lines you had seen and lines you had not considered at all

The entire Dojo got a free lesson here. We all thought black was better for most of the game, but he had a lot of pressure we didn't understand. Thanks for sharing, and thanks to Akopian for this high class game.

I enjoyed game and Analyse! It was a nice peek for me into sicilian and more important into pawnstructure play. Happy New Year!

I've played several games in this exact line from the white side both where black castles and defends g7 with the knight and also where black just plays g6 and gives up the exchange. I don't think these positions are every comfortable for black.

I watched this video a couple of weeks ago. Right now, I'm looking at sethuraman book (beat the najdorf and the taimanov). It seems that Qf3 is very dangerous in almost every line (d6,h5,Bd6,Nxd4,Be7) He detroys everything with moves my own computer doesn't even understand before depth 25 except the absolute mainline Ne5 b5. The problem is that this line give white the option to bail out with a draw. The famous Bxb5 line. Then I remembered this game. Maybe to play for a win with the taimanov this is the only serious try. Thanks for the idea !

Thanks for the upload, Kostya! Although I do have a two-fold question: Should a player be at a particular skill level or rating range to watch these types of recaps-and if so, what? I would consider myself a beginner, and I’m honestly having quite a bit of trouble understanding some of the rather advanced concepts/terminologies being used here. Appreciate your advice as always, many thanks once again!
