is branding a form of promotion. eg assigning a brand to a new product creates awareness of that new product?? also is it sponsorship when a firm pays a seller selling related goods to stock their product? for example, mars paying a bike company to sell the mars protein bar? if not, what is this an example of ?

Branding is used to differentiate businesses.For a business to have a strong brand name they need to invest in promoting their business.This can be done through sponsorship (below the line).A sponsorship is paying to have the name of a brand associated with another brand.Example: Some of the popular clothing brands in the world of football include Nike, Adidas, and Puma. Clubs can also earn shirt sponsorship deals. They do this by featuring a name on the front of their shirts.

Your videos are really helpful for my revision! Going through paper 1-3 in the next two weeks, so thank you for helping out in revision. By the way, could you cover Strategic change and implementation? I'm having some trouble with that topic. Thanks again!

Understandable, thks Sir. Sir, is public relation not part of above the line because it does not have a targeted audience.
@Ben-Thirkill6 жыл бұрын
No, if you compare the other below the line strategies a lot of them can have targeted audiences, for example, sponsorships or direct mail. Public relations are more-so below the line because the business hasn't actually paid for the attention gained in the media first hand like they would if they were to buy advertising space on TV or the internet.

Why wouldn't sponsorship be an above the line promotion?
