when you integrate the second partial fraction by reverse chain rule for your expected integral you get -2/11-p. but we have 4/11-2p. we need to multiply our integral by a factor of -2 to get the correct integral not a factor of -4 ending with -2ln(11-2p).

How would you know for certain that the cos(2y) = +sqrt(1-sin^2(2x)) and not the negative version of it? As surely using the limits for y cos(2y) could be either negative or positive?

Surely this is right! Because, he finds the gradient of the radius, which is perpendicular to the tangent. Therefore, to find the gradient of the tangent, he must find the normal of the gradient of the radius?

41:55 do we generally ignore theta to the power of more than squared is or is it just in this case just because it is until theta squared? Thank you so much for this video🙏🙏🙏
@DrJamesMaths
@DrJamesMaths 3 ай бұрын
Yeah you can ignore powers of 3 or greater
@KausalyaaKangasuthan
@KausalyaaKangasuthan 3 ай бұрын
Yes because as mentioned in the video if given theta is assumed really small then higher powers are negligible. Think if theta become so close to nothing then higher powers won't make much of a difference. That's the understanding behind it.
