I have gone through that many many times and it never gets easier your heart is totally broken but you have to move on. When my last friend passes I’m not going to have any more I’m get older and I can’t take the heartbreak anymore 70 + years of being with animals I can’t take the pain of losing them to age. Beautiful video! Once again I laughed at your description of Blue (sp?) laughed when you announced your pregnancy and cried with you over your very painful losses. As usual your videos hit home. We lost my mom on July 31- one day after the fourth anniversary date of my dad's passing. We lost our dearly loved GSD, Gus, in April and in October unexpectedly welcomed our new one, Kronk. Life is precious; may we all use 2025 to deepen our relationships with our loved ones and share the source of our strength and faith with those who don't know Him. It was so difficult to relive Kenji`s passing with you. My 2 GSDs are like my children and my female will be 12 in April which is very old by German Shepherd standards. She got really sick last month. She refused to eat, and her scent glands were working overtime. I took her to the vet and he told me she was just very old and to prepare to say goodbye to her. To my absolute joy and surprise (and the vet too) she has made a true comeback, and she is eating everything I put in her dish again...gained back almost all the weight she lost and is playing ball again with me and my 6-year-old male. I don't know how long this "bounce back" will last, but I am enjoying every day I am blessed to have her still with us. Kenji was obviously a huge part of your family, and I am so sorry you had to say goodbye...but at least Kenji died in his bed and surrounded by his family. RIP beautiful pup. It is ridiculously cold here the last two days, but some relief coming by Monday. Currently -37 here at the farm in North/Central Sask. brrrrr!! A great day to stay inside and enjoy your video. Thanks for sharing your 2024 memories with us....and as always, sending love from our frigid acreage to yours.

First off I want to say thank you for having such a wonderful channel. I first found you guys when I was stuck in my recliner recovering from brain surgery. Since then I have laughed, cried, and just smiled during and after every episode. 2024 brought the loss of 5 family members and also our beloved beagle Isabella. I really think Kenji and Isabella are over the rainbow bridge hanging out watching us all. We also brought a new German shepherd puppy into our home. But our biggest wonderful change was the birth of my third grandchild. Most people think I’m really crazy for thinking this but I’ve always liked to believe that those loved ones we have lost have already met the new life that is on the way. I like to believe that your grandmother has already met your little one. Please stay happy,healthy, and safe now and in the years to come. It's so hard to lose a much loved pet dog. It took me 12 years to stop crying whenever I talked about my beautiful girl, Roxy. She was a Rottweiler with the most beautiful loving nature. We lost her to leukaemia when she was 9 years old. The Vet said it was an extremely unusual case. While making up.our minds on what path we were going to go down, she instantly went blind in booth eyes during the evening. First one eye hemorrhage and within an hour or two her second eye went.she took the decision out of our hands. I couldn't stand the thought of her having leukaemia but to allow her to go completely blind, was unthinkable. She'd had a wonderful life with so many adventures. So I know how much it hurt your family to lose your lovely family pet dog.

I Also had 10 years between my youngest child at home and my new baby, with my eldest being a teen and out of the house. I realized that the youngest got my patience while the oldest got my energy. The small things didn't trigger my worries as I'd already been there and done that and the things that used to frustrate me I now saw as usual for the age. I may not have been the same mom but I was still the mom that my children's friends wanted to be with, to play and hang out at my house. I may not have the energy to pull the sleds up the hill all afternoon but I did have the cookies and hot chocolate waiting for them when they decided they had had enough and came back in regardless of what I was doing. You'll soon find out that it's as long as you can give them your attention and time it's not so much what you can do but rather that you are there just for them that counts.z

For some reason when I saw the fireflies I heard Paul Harvey's voice saying "And so God created the firefly to show the world that our light shines from within and when we shine it spreads joy to many others". Thank you for a great year of video's. I never feel like I am wasting time when I watch. It helps to calm my mind and feel a gentle peace. Congrats on another great year. 1 million subs in 2025? :) You certainly deserve it and millions more.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my fur baby and had her for 14 years. I miss my Lina so much. I am 64 never married and no children. She was my everything. I know they say in time it gets better. I am not able to train a puppy. My heart goes out to yall. I love watcing your channel. Keep your faith in God and loving each other. You sister in Dallas NC loves yall too! Happy new year to you all, I have watched you all over the years and marvelled at how you’ve all grown (in size and as people). I’m so sorry that you had the pain of loss in the midst of so many blessings, both Kenji and your grandmother were wonderful to watch. The heart can feel so much pain and love all at once. Your grandmother always looked younger than her years, and her love for her family was so clear to see.
