😥Sri Lanka is one of the worse place for both wild & captivated Elephants. ONLY FEW Sri Lankans care for their precious Giants. No strict elephant law implementation, no modern technologies to use & facilities or hospitals for elephants. Deforestation, land development, cultivation, farming feeds & livestock, greedy locals & foreign businessmen's interest in land development, growing population, etc., no more forest & jungle for elephants to live. Uncontrolled illegal fencing, crack jaws traps, railways elephant accidents, shooting, elephants eating garbage, etc. Captivated elephants are also suffering in their religious cultural activities😢 Sadly, government is not much interested protecting these Giant gems😥And previous government was even much less protective with elephants😥

Im sure you wouldnt think this animal was so "majestic" if it was destroying your property and livlihood. ! A reminder to protect your farmers you know, the people that feed you. As far as I know elephants dont have the ability to grow and cultivate food do they?? Didn't think so.

Humans are a part of the environment. So are these elephants. It's always about the balance and finding solutions to these problems. If we eliminate them soon, we will automatically be eliminated. Just look up on the internet that how much does a single elephant in sri lanka contributes to the sri lankan tourism industry. Then you'll understand how important them are to us even for our economy. Please stop spreading hate as all of us are part of our nature❤
