15:26 keeping my “ugly” drawings is the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. When I was younger, I used to tear out my ugly drawings or scribble over them/paint over them/etc. I still sometimes cover a bad sketch if I’m still working on it, but if I finish a piece and hate it, it stays in my sketchbook. Usually when I come back to it a year or two later, I really like it. I think in the moment it’s so easy to only see flaws and be discouraged if what you created didn’t turn out exactly as you planned. But honestly, looking back and seeing how much I enjoy the piece now gives me a whole new perspective and I even get inspired to do more 😎

I have a rough, choppy style of drawing and felt pretty invalid for a long time because I thought it wasn't "real art" but lately I've been unlearning that idea and letting myself be free to scribble and paste and color all over my sketchbook because it's a place to experiment and have fun!
