This articulates something I’ve felt often in nature, but never put to words. Thank you for your words and service. Rest in Peace.

We were only 14-15 years of age. I was far ahead in our official timed run of the mile in p.e.class. 3.5 laps in ..3.75 laps, .. out of nowhere. Who? Terry! We both strode towards the finish line I was petering out, while Terry had turned on the afterburners. We tied at 5:34. I will never forget that. This is a perfect example of one aspect that was Terry. We lost a very important and exceptional person a few days ago. I don’t know why my dad refers to him as Herschel , as a nickname in his preschool years?! No time elapses , the effect is instantaneous when you see a picture of Terry smiling , broadcasting his light. Selflessness learned through “meditation in nature” ( is what I call it) , in exploration , curiosity, our potential as humans. Grateful for good foundations. Altruism and love. We love you Terry ! A selfish life will never be a happy life... "Serve and keep serving... give and never stop giving..." and... "Seek the way of selfless service and all shall be well... and "To those who give... all shall be given..." 😇😇
