To be fair, Keith, it’s The Course itself that puts the idea of a universal experience in our minds. So of course we will want to experience the experience!

@pod8234 yes, but the one who wants the experience can't have it. That's why the Course emphasises that you must choose again what you and your brother are by choosing against egoic identity. We don't seek for truth but seek out all the ways we have chosen against it and choose again. T-16.IV.6. "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all of the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." Words are hopelessly inadaquate to discuss what is true, their purpose being to uphold separateness. Therefore, in their inadaquacy, you wouldn't have to look far for the Course, or any other Spiritual philosophy seeming to contradict itself. We need to look purpose rather than form to find the unified message in everything.

Wow, thank you ! I’m so glad I asked the question! It has has had me tied in knots for a awhile now. If you do happen to see this, Keith, I have another burning question which you reminded me of in your reply. “ WHO or WHAT is my brother?”… one minute we are taught that the dream figures we see and interact with are mere shadows and in the next that we must love everyone! But there is no “everyone”. I do realize that language is a horrible barrier. It’s probably why Jesus wants us to join our mind with his thus eliminating the need to talk at all!! Regardless if I hear back from you again or not, I want to thank you for the detailed answer. I will be reading more than once❤️

@pod8234 your brother is Christ, as are you. Once you attack the Christ in you by making a separate self for yourself out of thoughts, you will attack the Christ in your brother to make a separate self for him out of thoughts. This is the shadow figure. It's very important not to understand the Course as saying that your brother is an illusion. The shadow figure you are seeing him as because you attacked yourself is an illusion. Your brother is the same Christ you are. Only what you think your brother is, a dream figure, because you think you are a dream figure, is illusion. He is Changelessness. He is that no concept or thought can say because his reality is outside of concepts as is your own. "Your brother has a changelessness in him beyond appearance and deception, both. It is obscured by changing views of him that you perceive as his reality." T-30.VIII.2. T-28.IV.3. "Like you, your brother thinks he is a dream. Share not in his illusion of himself, for your Identity depends on his reality. Think, rather, of him as a mind in which illusions still persist, but as a mind which brother is to you. He is not brother made by what he dreams, nor is his body, “hero”of the dream, your brother. It is his reality that is your brother, as is yours to him. Your mind and his are joined in brotherhood. His body and his dreams but seem to make a little gap, where yours have joined with his." T-28.VII.3. "Either there is a gap between you and your brother, or you are as one. There is no in between, no other choice, and no allegiance to be split between the two."

As I live with my actual brother ( who drives me crazy) I have listened to your videos about “ everything being perfect” or “ absolutely as it should be” in order to find the peace The Course speaks of. I have long fought with the notion that the dream figure I created as my brother has Christ in him at all! But I literally saw the light( finally) in your answer and the accompanying paragraph’s from The Course. I am irresistibly drawn to ACIM and yet find it extremely dense and difficult to navigate. Your clear teaching has been a great gift to me. May my “ThankYou” be one to you! MERRY CHRISTMAS!❤️

Living, being in constant grace we feed from the lifeforms of creation Mother that gives all required to love a physical body. We soon learn to find mothers milk, explore our hands and feet, make sounds that include laughter and crying, and focus our eyes to see things more clearly. We learn biting our fingers causes pain in them. We learn not eating on time causes pain in the stomach and gas needs to be released after feeding. Do we live in Grace while growing rapidly? Many of us live a full life doing what others expect us to do and be. We are safe in the hands that have brought us into this world but as those who care for us leave the earth place, we are faced with the last years of our own life and we may look back and remember living in Grace. So many events were the gifts of grace.

Hey, Keith. There are very few people that had the Holy Instant over night without any spiritual practice/study and that Peace never left, right? At least, that's what Eckhart Tolle says that happened to him. So in a way, did he already come prepared to have this sudden awakening from spiritual practices he did in other life times?

Keith, The Course says that God has not many sons, but one. He created a son like unto himself. Is consciousness itself that son? Creating something, a son, must mean some type of distinction? Yet, there is only God. I hope you will answer this. Thank you.

Every course student asks that question sooner or later… but it can’t be answered.

It never happened. That makes no sense to the ego that IS the tiny mad idea. C-in.4. "The ego will demand many answers that this course does not give. It does not recognize as questions the mere form of a question to which an answer is impossible. The ego may ask, “How did the impossible occur?", “To what did the impossible happen?", and may ask this in many forms. Yet there is no answer; only an experience. Seek only this, and do not let theology delay you." Only in the undoing of egoic identity can it be known that "not one note in Heaven's symphony was missed".
