Definitely a "hurt song". Wouldn't go back even if you asked me. LOL. The fact that they wrote so many songs to each other and then performed then on stage is amazing.

I'm in a local Fleetwood Mac tribute band called Go Your Own Way. We do this song and all the classics as well. I've always been a fan of the band, mainly their 70s material. Having to analyze it and learn parts has helped me appreciate them a lot more. Great to see you guys are back. On another note, I'd like to make a request, if possible There's a band called UK. John Wetton, Allan Holdsworth, Bill Bruford and Eddie Jobson. Their first self-titled album has a song on it called Nevermore. You guys might enjoy it!

Best to watch Lindsey play this live....

This guitar part is fun, because Lindsey is basically fingering like it's a banjo (which is where that bluegrass feel comes from). The two-against-three polyrhythm in the picking hand is the best part of the song musically. If you want to see a great example of Lindsey playing crazy stuff live, check out the live version of "Big Love" from _The Dance_ where he goes insane.

As a young guitar player I was mesmerized Mr Buckingham’s style. Trying to not bop my head would be less likely than stopping a sneeze.

This is a nice tune, and a fine example of how less is more in terms of instruments in a song: No keyboards or drums, just fine guitar picking. As LD says, it is a fun tune, though the lyrics are more melancholic. There are some discordant notes, that also indicate the sadness aspect LD mentions, and does suggest there is some self-convincing going on. Thanks for the short and sweet ditty.

You still have to give a great song like Max Websters Beyond The Moon a listen..

I played the Rumours album a lot as a teen. #1 US Billboard 200 (1977). It's not my favorite song from the album, but it's OK. I would like it more if you played official artist videos that support them and not bozos trying to make a buck off of them. Pretty as they may be (some are just horrible and have nothing to do with the artists' visions). BTW, I comment a lot bc it helps you guys, not bc I have anything brilliant to add. Still my favorite YT channel. I Like every video. Thanks for fixing the audio issues. JD seems to nod in time with the music, too. I know you'll get back to the Rush, older Genesis, Yes, etc bc JD has (mostly) great taste 😉
