You are correct. That said, my humble request, write down your goals, find a scripture to stand on, pray over it together. You will be shocked by the power of unity and agreement! God loves this and you will move faster than if you try on your own. Today we are still hustling but our primary home that we built is now a rental property glory to God as we have another one. We had to sacrifice a lot and did not do things our friends were doing but it paid off.

I watched this episode the first time it came out. I can't recall if I left the same comment.. When I sum up all the 💰 I've spent on paying rent , I'd be done paying for a mortgage a couple of years back. It's never too late to own your own place. I'd rather go hungry knowing the landlord isn't coming after me. It is one huge baggage taken off my shoulders.. It is worth it infolks!

If you're feeling pressure at 35 na jee watu wa 40+? 😭They (those people) say, the "why" is a crucial question when contemplating such major life decisions. What would be like the 5 top motivations for owning your own home? Also, most people tend to dream of building their own home versus buying. What would be 5 pros and cons of building vs buying? Lastly, after investing so much time, thought, resources into building your own home, can one feel a bit trapped for good? You can't just up and away to a different location. What if your neighbor suddenly decides to start zero grazing 100 pigs or 20 floor flats appear? For the record I'm 100% for owning and especially self-building when the time is right, these are just thoughts in the process.

I feel like pressure in your 20s kind of shouts in your face, it's more or less like peer pressure or comparison. Pressure in your 30s is very subtle. It silently creeps in during your quiet time or is triggers by certain things. But we move regardless, one day at a time.

Abel previois logic of building a house is literally my dad. He kept saying that he sees no pint of building a home for only 3 people since I'm also the only child. Well.. I moved out into my own home and left them in the apartment. I just need to know if they're other parents in the mid 50s living in apartments because I still find it so awkward 😄

Age is one of the determining factors in the conversation you have in the family. What you talk in your 20s is quite different with the conversation at early 30s and it becomes different in mid and late 30s and on and on.
