Hi Jeremy, I think the amount of detail and the functioning lights make this a nice piece to have. Seeing the incandescent lights makes me realize how much LEDs have simplified lighting small scale models. Kudos to Arnold for putting the effort into installing directional lighting on such a small scale a relatively inexpensive model. Scratch building a powered chassis for the Rail Bus might be a fun project. Thanks for sharing another interesting N scale car with us!

Thanks Brad, I was super impressed with the directional lighting. Especially considering that this was built in the late 60s early 70s

in 1969 this car cost around $35 dollars in today's money ($4.95 originally)

Hi Jeremy... Although I'm strictly O gauge, I would have purchased that piece just for show. Working lights are always a plus. My wife has a tradition of gifting me each year with the latest Lionel Hallmark train ornament....it's quite close to Z scale. I have the entire collection since they first came out in "97 ? Sometimes I'll pick up a Z piece at a train show to display with them. I have an interest in trolleys also. Thanks 👍

Morning James, thanks for the great comment. I've had some of the Hallmark stuff in the past - it's surprisingly well detailed.
