Gigi- I’m glad the Dr. Said your red pill is ok to take! My daughter and I have lots of house plants and when we need a tray under the pot- we go to Goodwill and get beautiful plates or low bowls to put under the planters ❤ I love them - you can get plain or very pretty

Gigi, when the plant breaks off, just place it down in the soil of the same pot or a new one. I do that and they grow making the plant look fuller almost like a bush. Also if you take cuttings , you can start new plants all year long from the coleus in water.

🌺Gigi, I have had a Peace Lily for 3 years. The key is to allow them to be root bound!! They will do better if root bound and if you water from the bottom; add water into the tray that the planter is sitting in.

I would change to potting soil, and get a pot with a hole on it, and water on the dish.if 10 minutes you check if there is water in the dish, throw it out

My Christmas catcus use to do the same thing. My sister told me i was watering mine wrong. They like to be watered from the bottom instead of the top. I now put it in a bowel of water when it dries out. It has made a big difference. When i need to fertilize it, i add liquid fertilizer to the water when its time to fertilize it. I havent made it unalive yet, which is a first. Usuall i do not do well with plants. I tend to have a black thumb.
