When Mouse got lost the first time I thought well that's just it and when the eagle came I thought she'd just get close to death like with the coyotes. I think whatever is wrong with the den is more to blame than Seri.

Oh my gosh... The timing on that den flooding was horrendous. We'll miss you Mouse. T-T On a lighter note, I have an update on the Iron Belt Pack if anyone is interested. :') Remi made it again everyone, all four pups made it to 20 pounds. Silver got sick towards the end but Pip got to 20 pounds before Silver had a chance to die to sickness, so that's good! Remi is now on to his fifth year of life. The new territory for this litter is set on the center bottom of the map, the river runs straight through the middle and there's a lot of water in the territory but otherwise it's a nice place. The new den is under a stump that has a great view of First Meadow. Remi's new perks for this year are Good Memory, Territorial Might, and Youthful Prowess. No physical perks this year I'm afraid. Unfortunately this might be the last litter I have with Quill, Remi's mate. She's seven years old now, a ripe old age for a wolf. She's been a wonderful mate and I hope she continues to be for this litter. Remi and Quill had five pups this year, which is wonderful! They seem to be climbing up the puppy ladder, considering they've gone from litters of 3, to 4, and now to 5. There are three females, Mai, Penny, and Piper, and two males, Zinc and Copper. Copper is the runt of the litter this year. I'll post more updates once the next episode comes out, of course. :)

Basil sprinted towards Argon, and grabbed his by the scruff he then dropped him in a patch of grass. “Stay here” Basil barked. Rosetta then ran over to Mouse and whispered “We will be fine!” “That scruffy eagle can’t hurt us!” Mouse nodded, then she saw water trickling out of the den; then she saw a huge eagle swooping down, aiming towards Mouse. Then it happened. She felt a talons ripping into her pelt, “MUM DAD!” she screamed as the eagle carried her away then a tear fell from her azure blue eyes, it landed on a seed. Basil was crying over Mouse’s death. He took the seed and planted by a drop of her blood. He then named this spot Mouse meadows. A cursed area where many members of the Moon pack’s pups have died. This is my first story, hope you like it. If you did please help me think of some names for my wolves, pack and future mates and pups.

I have a few tips for you: 1) when the den floods and there is an attack go into map press moving day yes then woof and the pups will go to the closest grass patch. 2)elk, if you spook them and wait then attack the ones at the back of the herd and you will fine an elk with like alittle more then no health.

I think it's important to remember in this situation that while losing Mouse is incredibly sad and the whole situation was just awful, at least the eagle was able to feed its own babies. Those little baby birds will be able to live another day thanks to Mouse. :)

Tip: If you see the den message, go in there ASAP! If you go in there it will allow you to command puppies to move into the tall grass! This can potentially be a life saver, especially in situations like this!

Basil gave off a low growl. 'DEN- GET IN TH DEN' Basil insisted, optics shooting upon the empty sky and spotting no bird whatsoever, why? Frustration maybe.. ‘ IN THE DEN ‘ He repeated giving off a another woofing, the pups continued to refuse, scampering about in fear and shock, how could they tell Basil when he wouldn’t listen.. Basil felt his heart drop, lunging with all his power at his pups without even thinking, the eagle wasn’t aiming for badger...mouse gave of a yip and shriek off pain once claws sunk into each side of her flank, optics fading into a blurry vision..falling limp in the eagles dagger sharp talons that curved into her flesh.

Hey Seri, each wolf's story is different. But, nonetheless here's a tip - if know your going to be away for awhile and might be far and affinity is dropping, send mate home. As long as mate is near the den, the affinity won't go down as fast.

I shouldn’t of voted for heir so early 😔 R.I.P Mouse Here’s a story: One time Basil was out In the wild Yellowstone, he ventured far and wide to feed his pups but he could only find bull elk..”Ugh, there’s only bull elk Catalina!” “Calm down! We’ll find some!”. He wandered into another wolves territory, wary of it, but he saw a herd of cow elk ahead! he couldn’t resist it, he hadn’t had food in days! He shook up on them and then pounced at one! it was healthy, he could taste the healthy blood. He aimed for another one, its weak! He grabbed its stomach and brung it down! “Food! Finally!” He quickly munched down and ran home. On the way home, he could smell Badger, he was far from the den! age was so tired but he ran as fast and he could. When he got home he found badger and flopped to sleep. It was raining...the den flooded! An eagle attack too! “Woof! INSIDE! NOW” . Mouse tried to tell his dad but he couldn’t, he saw an black thing ahead aiming for him, he got grabbed, and mouse screamed and died... Mouse, I love you. You will be in pup heathen with Bluebell and all the other pups that died... R.I.P

Seri needs to learn to focus on the pack affinity to see how low it is. Second, she needs to keep the pups close to the den. Third, Mouse would not have died if she just went in the den to see why they wouldn't go in, so they could abandon the den and hide in the tall grass. You could tell who Seri's favorite pup was out of Mouse, Badger, Rosetta and Algon. In Meadows story when any of her pups died, she mourned for a single second then moved on.

Rest in peace, Mouse. We’ll all miss you. The den flooding at inconvenient times like that is always the worst. There is a way to get the pups to safety if the den floods, though. When a predator is attacking the den but your pups refuse to enter it, open your pack info menu and leave the den. That way, when you woof, your pups will look for tall grass to hide in.

The same thing happened to me. The pups wouldn't go in the den due to flooding during an eagle attack. I tried to chase away the eagle but the pups were scattering and it snatched one so quickly. RIP Mouse!

I had an eagle attack my den when it was flooded and the pups refused to go in. The best thing you can do when that happens is non-stop howling, as the pups will stop moving and run back you to once the howl stops. While the eagle will still attack, it will be easier to chase off as you are right next to your pups. This tactic saved one of my pups, Callahan, from dying to an eagle. While it can't save Mouse, it can hopefully save future pups.

It was just after a huge rainstorm, and she and her pups were sleeping outside when it flooded... In the morning, an eagle attacked and she went in to check the den and move the pups to the tall grass... As the pups were moving to the tall grass, one of the pups, Cotton, wandered away and Calypso went to retrieve him... Just as she was grabbing him, she glanced towards her pup, Niada, just in time to see the eagle swoop down and grab her sweet pup. Calypso was so overwhelmed with grief that she refused to move dens until the summer hunting grounds and she killed a coyote when it tried to attack her pups again. Calypso hardly howls at the sky now and if she does, it’s to call out to her lost pup. Basil, your aunt, Calypso, feels your pain. Don’t beat yourself up about it... it wasn’t your fault. 🥀R.I.P. Mouse...🥀

Basil tried to save his pups in time. Badger came out looking for his father, the den flooded and Badger and his siblings could not stand another second! Nope I refuse to believe Mouse is gone so I'm creating a short story to keep my heart intact >:') While the eagle was carrying Mouse away the little pup somehow managed to get out of the eagle's grip. She luckily landed in something soft to soften her fall when she hit the ground. Unable to find her way back home to her family as she was injured and to young a group of humans rescued her and helped her get better. Unfortunately since the injury was permanent and crippling she was unable to return to the wild as a adult like most. So the humans kept her as their mascot and she lived a long healthy and happy life. There my heart's intact now

This might sound bad but I don't think I get sad about the pups' deaths as much. It's always how Seri reacts to these losses that makes me sad. I don't think I'm the type of person who would usually react this way over characters in game, I don't easily get attached to them.
