Mountain biking in Ocotillo Wells SVRA (State Vehicular Recreation Area). Plenty of trails and destination points. Trails vary from hard pack , soft dirt to sandy washes . In early fall ridge tops are usually soft and crumbly until it rains a few times. As all desert locations it’s hot , dry and little to no shade. Pack plenty of water.
