I used to listen to a lot of pentatonix music back in the day, and now I'm a big fan of ateez so this is something i definitely needed but never thought of

it's Jong (like the sound of "song" expect a j) ho ....Jongho. It's Yunho like "yun ho". Ateez = Ay teez or like similar to "A-tease". Ateez has 8 members, they have a concept of Pirates and all their music video are connected to each other to tell their storyline. They also have different dimensions (alter ego's). Their music videos in order of release are not the order of the storyline. @@xwenja6369 definitely check them out cause you will fall in love with their music....I forgot to mention that "Fireworks (I'm the one)" may seem out of place in the storyline but that's because the Fever series hasn't ended yet, Ateez has another comeback on September 13th. Some helpful info ..... In the Diary film you will see the hour glass. The hour glass is called the cromer it can reverse time or send them to another dimension (I.e Strictland, where "Fireworks" takes place). Ateez always puts in hidden clues into their music videos so pay attention to the backgrounds etc. Make sure to watch until the very end cause there's a clue about what's coming up next or the next song. And if you can, please watch on KQ Entertainment channel. Sorry this was long lol. I love Ateez cause they keep me on my toes lol. they are amazing!!

Ateez is a Kpop group, but don't worry, I had never heard of them either before I found out about this collaboration. Pentatonix is putting out a deluxe edition of The Lucky Ones next month with five new bonus tracks. This is one of the new tracks. They gave us their 90s looks in the Dance Medley and now their 80s looks in this one! They did a lot more layering on this than they usually do, so I'm not sure if Kevin did a beatbox layer under his lead vocal or if Matt was beatboxing during that section. A LOT of fans complained when this was released on Facebook, believing that there was a band playing in the background...but it's ALL their voices just multi-layered.

Okay so Ateez pronounced ( Ay-teez or like the 80s) is a 8 Member group from South Korea. They are so amazing seriously you should check them out, but only if you want to. So in the collab there only three member San, Yunho and Jongho, there all vocalist. They did a cover of Leave the door open by Bruno Mars which is so good. Thanks for the react. Yunho starts the song then the next person is San. So when you try Jongho , the Jong part rhymes with song then ho is like ho, ho ho, from santa so Jongho. Ateez is one of the KPOP who sign with RCA Records with such as Christina Aguilera, Backstreetboys, Alicia Keys, etc under the label. You should do reaction for their music so interesting. Different sound compares to another kpop

As others have said, there are 3/8 members of Ateez participating on this song! For context, Yunho is the guy with the green blazer and red+black hair that opens the song. San is the guy who follows with the red jacket and shorter hair, and Jongho is the guy in the black jacket who does the fast 'Imma need a little' that you pointed out! He's actually the main singer of Ateez (what Western fans usually know as the 'lead singer') I have some recommendations, but also a warning that once you fall into the Ateez hole, there's no way back out! If you'd like to check out more of their vocal performances, I recommend: Leave The Door Open cover, Black Cat Nero (live at Immortal Songs), any live performances of their songs Light, Star 1117 and Celebrate. For more performance based recs (aka their true potential!) There he is again, this time not only with Pentatonix but also Ateez! 😁 (First came here for Måneskin, though). Thank you for the chill, respectful and funny reaction! I really like your style. And can I just say, with your profile picture you could fit right in the video. Anyways, I was really surprised by the collaboration as Ateez is one of my favourite groups at the moment and I was supposed to go to a Pentatonix concert last year (well, yeah...we'll see about that). I freaked out a bit when I realised that the collaboration was actual happening and not a joke. I also think that the three members of Ateez added there vocals to amplify the sound which is actually a shame as they are very good singers. But in my opinion, it was probably done in a short time frame and a kind of 'add-on' to the pre-recorded song. If you would like to check out more Ateez (there are some comments already recommending a lot of different songs) I would be very happy. Make sure to watch their live performances as they are crazy performers (and Jongho can really sing!). But don't feel pressured by Atiny (Ateez' fandom), I appreciate you either way! 😉

It is jongho and yuhno was the first person with streaks in his hair and San was the one in the read jacket. They are not the only members of Ateez. They pronounce their J's as J's not H's.😊

Their name is a play on A to Z, so it's pronounced A, like the letter, plus tease -> A tease. 80's has a softer t (almost a d) and isn't accented evenly. A-tease/ayteez is correct. Also, both o's in Jongho (종호) are the same sound (ㅗ) - long o's like the o in orange.

in the afterproduction of ptx i’m pretty sure that they edit matt’s bass down an octave and underlay it. matt is singing the upper octave and the lower “sub” type effect is the after production of the song :)

I always love your reactions!! But, this comment doesn't relate to your reaction, which was great as always! But... I just have to say it, I do not like the voices of 2 of the Ateez members...at all. I know Scott sometimes puts on a bit of a nasal tone for stylistic purposes, but his timber is such that it has never bothered me, I actually like when he does it. But the extreme nasally tones of 2 of the memebers along with the thiness of their vocals is just grading to my ears. The part you imitated was specifically cringe. Sorry, I can't say this in the actual video, but I had to get it out for my own sanity, LOL And since I don't like their voice, I probably won't see other reactions of this, so you're the lucky recipient of my useless opinion. Hahaha.
