Stay Gold was a pandemic era song. It shows them doing things they, and everyone, could still do while the lockdowns were in effect. They went so far to encourage not only their fans, but the world, during those dark times of uncertainty. They showed that you could still 'stay gold' and at the end everything is becoming brighter and they are out and about in appreciation that life in full will return and shine.

You’re right about it not just being the choreography but how they portray it. If you’ve ever noticed, they are so on point they jump and land at exactly the same time every time. It’s why they are the best. They practice to the point of perfection. As for V, I always say it should stand for velvet because it’s so rich and luxurious.
