As a dental assistant, if someone has bonding (or composite white filling material on their teeth), they will not whiten with white strips, OR professional whitening treatments. Only natural tooth structure whitens. That’s why bonding has to be replaced over the years to match the tooth as it stains/yellows over time. 🦷 But it depends on how much of the tooth is covered by the bonding 😌.
